Postal Stamp Auction - January 8, 2025

Welcome to our Monthly Stamp Auction #578, closing on Wednesday 8th January 2025.

This month we again have a solid range of NZ FFQ Chalons (lots 825-966). Some other lots of note are: a New Zealand 1d red FFQ chalon SG 4 (lot 826); a 1932 ½d on 1d Field Marshal Greymouth Provisional with diagonal overprint "HALFPENNY" in blue reading upwards (lot 1212); a 1922-33 £2 QVLT "FINE PAID", cds cancel, punched, Kiwi R83; and Portugal 1873 240r Luis pale dull lilac, straight value panels, p12½, unsurfaced paper, SG 99 (lot 3331).
