CHF SESSION INFORMATION:
  • October 4th, 2026 - 13:00 CET: The “Philokypros” Collection of Cyprus Postal History (CHF)
An exceptional collection spanning centuries of Cypriot postal and social history. The offering includes early maps, Venetian Mail, Austrian Offices, Great Britain used in Cyprus, and material from the reigns of Victoria through Elizabeth II. Collectors will also find extensive WWI and WWII censored mail, village postmarks, tax and instructional markings, and Jewish Internment Camp postal history. The collection traces the changing postal administrations of Cyprus and the island’s connections with Europe and the wider Mediterranean. Of particular interest are the specialized markings and usages that document periods of war, occupation and political change. The breadth of the collection makes it equally appealing to collectors of Cyprus, British Empire and specialized postal history.
  • October 4th, 2026 - 18:30 CET: The Tomasini Collection of Classic Sicily – part II (CHF)
Part II continues with another carefully selected offering of Classic Great Britain and Sicily, assembled with a strong emphasis on rarity, condition and provenance. The sale includes important individual pieces and specialized classic material of a calibre comparable to the first Tomasini auction. Following the strong results achieved by Part I in March, this next installment brings further opportunities to acquire material from these two important classic collecting areas. Many pieces were selected not simply for catalogue value, but for their quality, scarcity and philatelic significance. Collectors of classic European philately should find a range of notable individual items throughout the sale.
  • October 5th, 2026 - 13:00 CET: Specialized Switzerland Auction (CHF)
Approximately 500 selected lots covering Swiss philately from the classics through modern issues. Highlights include Cantonals, Rayons, Sitting Helvetias and later issues, complemented by a broad selection of collections and grouped lots. The sale provides substantial coverage of Switzerland’s classic period while continuing into later and modern philately. Both individual rarities and broader collecting opportunities are represented, making the offering suitable for specialists as well as collectors looking to develop an existing collection. The variety of material and price points should offer something for collectors at every level.
