Fine colour and exceptional freshness. An extraordinary exhibition multiple of outstanding rarity and importance. One of the largest surviving multiples of the 10 Grana value, further distinguished by the presence of three recorded retouched positions. French "15" rate marking, with arrival and transit backstamps, the wax seal having been excised. Some slight paper ageing. AD pencil initials alongside the 10 Gr. pair. A remarkable and rare three colour franking cover to France, bearing an attractive five-stamp franking paying the 29 grana rate.
