Public Auction No. 7 - May 23, 2026

Welcome to Garden City Philatelic Auctions’ May 23, 2026 Sale #7! Apart from our usual offering of Canadian and worldwide stamps and postal history, this sale will feature:
  • The Lawrence Pinkney collections of Canada Large Queens and extensive Canadian Bar Precancels
  • Part one of the impressive Steve Wheeler 100-volume collection of mint Scandinavian countries
  • Part three of the Rob Leigh extensive collection of early Canadian postal history, with an emphasis on quality postmarks, from the late 1700s up to the 1920s
  • A good selection of philatelic literature
  • A selection of special items from the G.W. Ross (Postmaster of the 1939 Royal Train Post Office) estate
  • Important offering of early Scottish postal history.

All lots will be sold on Saturday May 23, 2026 and the sale starts at 08:00 AM Pacific time (11:00 AM Eastern time). Each lot is unreserved will start at only C$50.

Our auction is conducted in Canadian dollars, with a competitive 17% buyers’ fee. Registered users can place bids in advance of the sale by email, telephone or entering them directly in StampAuctionNetwork (recommended). Bidding can also be done live online via the SAN “AutoHammer” during the sale, or using an agent. Don’t forget to hit “Request approval to bid” on this page (upper left) if you haven’t already.
