Nice bright colour and faint laid lines visible in fluid. Light natural paper flaw at lower right, else fine-very fine. The stamp shows a “missing horizontal frame line” or "short transfer" at top right, which should allow it to be easily plated.

5 O 4 image1852 3d Red Beaver Imperforate, used, with a crisp and perfect strike of the 4-ring #4 (Bowmanville), with deep rich colour. The stamp has three ample to large margins, slightly cut into at lower left, but showing a large part of the next stamp at right, as well as showing a small part of the plate imprint in the lower right margin. This postmark is recorded first used on NOV.11.1857.
