401 CVR   imageCollection of 53 Early Stamped Glasgow, Scotland Covers, 1841 to 1875, following the progression of stamp issues (imperforate and perforated Penny Reds and a few ½d Bantams) and postmarks, starting with Maltese Crosses (x4), #159 in square grids, a #159 "Madeleine Smith" experimental duplex (x3), and various #159 duplex. A few of the covers are addressed to Glasgow and have receiver postmarks, and we also noted other postmarks of interest, such as more to pay, received open and re-sealed at Glasgow, etc. A useful group for the specialist, with some faults, else overall fine or better.
