1842 (Jun 18) Mulready 2d lettersheet, stereo a91, sent to London bearing 1841 1d red-brown in block of 6 tied black MC cancels, with margins touched in places, backstamped ‘’Stone 18 6 42’’ and arrival cds. The adhesives are crossed by
horizontal and vertical filing folds, there is a little soiling and some peripheral faults but this is an outstanding and extremely rare Mulready usage (a single 1841 1d red on 2d Mulready cats £32'500).
