66499 ,, 41b image1924 Type Vi, 16mm overprint 1d corner plate block of 16 (4 x 4), a most dramatic multiple with the top two stamps (pos 1 and 2) showing completely omitted overprint and second stamp on second row nearly completely omitted plus first stamp in that row with slightly shaved 't'. There are some creases in the block but not sufficient to cause these omissions by a paper fold, so possibly caused by extra paper adhered to face, though the BPA Cert (2020) favours the paper fold theory. There is some perf separation between stamps 2 & 3 and 6 & 7, the balance from the top of the sheet, a block of 32 included. One of the most dramatic missing overprints from the whole of the Commonwealth. (Image 1) (Image 2)
