Rasdale Stamp Company Sale - 465

Worldwide Public Auction - November 15-16, 2025

It is always nice to finish the year on a high note as this is the best auction of the year. We are offering properties from over 80 consignors, four of which are notable enough to be flagged as estates. The best is the “Sandy Estate” which created over 220 lots which are generally very advanced, mostly mint country collections with the better duplicated items plucked out to be run in the singles section. The consignment contains many countries not often seen.

The sale starts with a U.S. collection offered intact with a suggested bid of $32,500.00. There are many other desirable U.S. collections, including one notable well-known proof and essay exhibit featuring the 3 cent Bank Note. If you are looking for U.S., U.S. Possessions, Latin America, British or French colonies you will have plenty to choose from.

The cover section is larger than normal and contains many interesting single and collection/accumulation offerings. If you desire U.S., UPU or Poland you won’t be disappointed. The fairs and expos selection, the second installment, contains 1851 to 1940 events which will excite the picture postcard and ephemera buyers.

The singles section, while not as large as past sales, contains a nice selection of U.S. highlighted by a 3 cent Banknote reissue and a rare 1995 plate number strip of five never offered on the market. The worldwide is diverse and has many high-quality items. Of note is an early German booklet that looks as good as the day it was produced.

Enjoy perusing through the sale. As always, if you would like a further description feel free to call between November 3-12 and one of describers will be happy to help you.
