1180 c imageOutstanding, phenomenal General Government award winning former exhibit from the Golden Flyer Estate Part IV. Contains 150 different carefully selected commercial covers and postal stationery to narrate the tale of the German Occupation from 1939-1944. Divided into logical sections having Provisional Issues, View Definitives, War Related Mail, Postal Cards and Stationery, Hitler Definitives, Pictorials, Semi-Postals, Officials, and Service Stamps. Organized and researched, this exhibit has invaluable information about rates, weights, and translations. Highlights include to mail to the United States via Siberia, high value money letters, forced labor mail, mail to a famous undercover address, mail from a Gestapo spy and an Auschwitz cover. A pleasure to view having disturbing historical accuracy. From a collector whose ancestors immigrated from Poland, who now wants to pass of this awesome exhibit to the next generation of Polish collectors.
