Collectors were invited to send (via airmail) envelopes to Pan Am’s 28 Central, South American and Caribbean offices. Pan Am would apply local postage at Pan Am’s expense and return the envelope. Examples from all 28 offices plus 2 not included in the trial (but treated the same) are included in the exhibit. A huge start for a new exhibit or specialty.
