Auction Galleries Hamburg vormals Schwanke GmbH - Worldwide Auction of Stamps, Postal History, Coins & Postcards - November 29-30, 2019 Dear collector friends, the catalogue of our 15th auction is now online. This time it is particularly difficult for the author to point out the very large and wide-ranging number of lots of special features and rarities. To mention a lot is a decision between a rock and a hard place... One very special and unique item that is a special pleasure for us to present a - philatelic - atypical lot: lot 5901 a partly hand-painted map of the General Post Office Berlin from the year 1777 comes to the exclamation. Even the experienced and often long-standing employees of our company have very rarely seen such a gorgeous single item. Especially the wealth of individual details and the good preservation makes this historical piece a philatelically highly interesting object!

Riding for Diabetes!

This May, I will be riding for Diabetes. (click here to donate) This is my 8th year, riding for the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure fundraising event. Last year, StampAuctionNetwork users gave over $45,000 to support me in this effort and put me in 1st place!

This is a favorite riding photo of mine. I am near the top of the Beartooth Hwy pass between Red Lodge, Montana and the North East entrance to Yellowstone. It was June and there were still 5 foot snow drifts carved off the highway and skiers at the top!
