Sale #S125: The Winthrop Holding of Rare and Desirable United States Stamps Part 5. All lots offered without reserve. Live bidding will start at 1 p.m. EDT on Saturday, July 6, 2024 thru Stamp Auction Network. Lots sold in this sale are subject to a 12½% buyer’s premium.

We are pleased to offer another group of stamps from this remarkable holding of United States stamps spanning issues from both the19th & 20th centuries.

Among the highlights we would like to mention the 1845 10-cent St. Louis Bear, a number of scarce multiples incl. #18 in mint block of four as well as a number of 1867-68 grilled issues in multiples, official reprints, re-issues, 1870 90c carmine with grill mint as well as a number of scarce and rare 19th century issues singles.
