Welcome to our Fall 2026 sale of worldwide postal history, with material spanning the seventeenth through twentieth centuries.

On this occasion, stampless mail is a particular focus: alongside rates and routes, we have highlighted what the letters reveal about the lives of their writers and the world around them. Throughout the sale are accounts of war and revolution, slavery, migration, pandemics, travel, financial upheaval, and the hazards of maritime trade. We hope these letters will interest collectors of traditional postal history, as well as those drawn to the people and events behind the mail.

The sale also includes early ship and forwarding-agent mail, registered and redirected covers, wartime correspondence, wreck mail and pioneer aviation, among many other fields. We hope you enjoy the sale, and wish you success with your bids.
