Dr. Benirschke, a world-renowned pathologist and geneticist has assembled his lifelong collection with an ever deepening understanding and appreciation for the “art and science” of stamp collection. His native Germany, along with related Offices, Colonies, Plebiscites, Occupations and Old German States were his strongest passions. In addition to Germany, excellent collections of Austria, Czechoslovakia and Paraguay will be featured along with his very fine United States collection which includes some excellent rarities.
