Worldwide Public Auction - March 11-15, 2025

The auction includes a lot of worldwide philately, mainly in intact lots and collections and also as single items. Main focus is on the Finnish stamps, collections and postal history. The sale includes for example over 60 lots of 1856 oval issue stamps and plentyof other classic Finnish stamps like 1866 5 penni colour error (5 penni on 10 penni colour), 8 penni with very rare roulette V, 1 markka essays, tête-bêche pairs on later issues, issue 1889 10 markka three copies on insured cover, issue 1911 40 penni stamps with perforation B (two lots), issue 1917 (model Saarinen) including plenty or rarities (perforation and watermark), eg. 1920 10 penni green with perforation B and 50 penni perforation B (two lots), 1927 1 markka very are AW4 and 3 markka AW1, plenty of rare varieties of issue 1930 stationery cards including proofs, two lots including Zeppelin 1830 error print stamps (one single and one in strip of three), over 10 lots including Aunus 5 markka and 10 markka stamps, and many other key items in Finnish philately, also plenty of postal items, rare postmarks etc.

Foreign section has plenty of interesting lots, better collections and single items from Europe and overseas. The auction includes eg. huge selection of German lots from, eg. Thurn und Taxis old exhibition collection split into several lots, huge variety of Reich, Danzig, Memel, Saar, Field post, colonies, WW1 and WW2 occupation areas etc. better single items with signatures/certificates as well as good variety of collections and lots, nice selection of Imperial Russia including 1857 imperforate 10 kopek on a cover, 1858 20 kopek two single stamps and 30 kopek also two single stamps with varying conditions, complete main type collections of Imperial Russia as well as Soviet Union, Romania, Bulgaria etc. Nice selection of old worldwide collections, Great Estonian lots etc. etc.

Auction includes also ca. 140 gold coins like Great Britain 1879 1 sovereign, 2008 £5 The Prince of Wales, USA 1923 $20 Saint-Gaudens – double eagle, Persia Zand Dynastu (Karim Khan) gold coin and some other very old gold coins from periods of Ottoman Empire, Abbasids, Egypt etc. Also plenty of other interesting coin lots and other collectibles available like Rolex Submariner vintage watch 5513, newer Omega Speedmaster and Seamaster watches three pieces etc. The auction consists of over 4200 lots.
