1582 image2nd issue 1859 - 1861, 1 Kr green and 3 Kr blue Mi 20-21, four beautiful collection pages containing a total of 14 single stamps, one vertical pair, and five postal items. Many stamps with full margins, several with parts of adjacent stamps, two 1 Kr stamps featuring seven adjacent stamps, and one 3 Kr stamp from the edge of the sheet with a large bottom margin! Beautiful cancellations, including mint stamps of both values, 1 Kr mint * and 3 Kr without gum (*). A few signed stamps. The covers include single postage for both values, a registered letter from Hechingen to Weilburg, etc. Interesting material! (Image)

1584 image2nd issue 1859 - 1861, 6 Kr red Mi 22, a beautiful collection page with four loose stamps and a postal item. The loose stamps include both types, including mint * IA with only a very small mark on the gum. The letter was sent from Frankfurt to Zweibrücken in 1861, with unclear arrival postmark on reverse. All items on the collection page have full margins, with some even showing parts of adjacent stamps. Excellent quality! (Image)

1585 image2nd issue 1859 - 1861, 9 Kr yellow Mi 23, a beautiful collection page featuring a mint * stamp, four used stamps, and a postal item. Attractive cancellations, including an almost superb Frankfurt ring number cancel 220 on a type I stamp on a small piece. The margins of the items range from wide to narrow, with some margins cut very close, but no stamps are in cut. The cover was sent from Frankfurt to Riesa an der Elbe in 1861, with the stamp having all edges intact. (Image)

Features fine ring number cancellations from various locations, including one stamp with a 220 Frankfurt cancel and signed: Bühler BPP. Some stamps have full margins, while some are cut close. The cover was sent from Wallendorf to Dresden in 1862, with the stamp having three good margins and one cut close. (Image)

1587 image2nd issue 1859 - 1861, 15 Kr brown-purple and 30 Kr orange Mi 24-25, two fragments featuring both stamps. The smaller piece has the stamps beautifully cancelled with a Frankfurt ring number cancel 220, with a small portion of a red circular cancel at the bottom of both stamps. Both stamps have intact edges, with the lower right corner of the 30 Kr stamp cut close. No faults or repairs. Certificate: Sommer (1978). The larger piece has the stamps cancelled with a Worms ring number cancel 163, with margins ranging from wide to cut into. (Image)

1589 image2nd issue 1859 - 1861, 15 Kr brown-purple Mi 24, on a registered cover sent from Bingen to Vienna in 1865. The stamp is cancelled with a Bingen ring number cancel 97, alongside a single-ring Bingen postmark and a Chargé box cancel, correctly franked for a registered letter. Cancellations on the reverse of the cover. The stamp has two intact margins, with the top and bottom partially cut close; a small notch at the bottom touches the outermost frame line. Some patina. The margins vary from wide to in cut, the stamps in the pair are very fine mint **, margin with ungummed spot, full margins all around, and a wide sheet margin on the right. 1593 image3rd issue 1862 - 1864, 1/3 Sgr green Mi 27, a used and a mint stamp, as well as a wrapper of a printed matter with a stamp. The single stamps have full margins – the mint stamp has giant margins with large parts of three adjacent stamps visible, the used stamp is signed. The printed matter (wrapper) was sent from Cassel to Kirchhain in 1863, franked with a single 1/3 Sgr stamp – a rare single franking rate. The stamp has wide margins on the sides and narrow margins at the top and bottom. A diagonal crease is present in the upper left corner. Certificate: Sommer (1982). (Image)

1594 image3rd issue 1862 - 1864, 1/3 Sgr green Mi 27, a magnificent strip of three with full margins on a cover sent from Schwalenberg to Salzuflen via Detmold in 1866. The stamps are cancelled with the Schwalenberg ring numeral postmark 332, and the cover bears a single-ring Schwalenberg cancellation. On the reverse, there is a transit mark from Detmold and an arrival mark from Salzuflen. Signed: Pfenninger in the lower right corner of the cover . Some patina. (Image)

1595 image3rd issue 1862 - 1864, 1/2 Sgr orange Mi 28, a fine collection on two album pages: one mint * stamp, six used stamps, and two postal items. All stamps on the collection pages have intact margins, some even showing parts of adjacent stamps. The first postal item is a single franking sent from Ilmenau to Ohrdruf via Gotha in 1866, while the second is a 1/2 Sgr postal stationery envelope with an additional 1/2 Sgr stamp, sent from Cassel to Fulda. Includes mint * pair (light vertical folds), five used single stamps with various shades, and one stamp (33 Homberg) with giant margins showing parts of seven other stamps! Single franking from Neudietendorf to Frankenhausen in 1865, with partially giant margins, and another cover, a 1 Sgr postal stationery envelope with an additional 1 Sgr stamp, sent from Jena to Münden via Cassel in 1865, with giant margins showing parts of at least seven other stamps! Among the single stamps, two have full margins and two have three full margins, while the block of four has a partially touching right vertical margin. Some stamps are signed. Postal item sent from Eschwege to Dresden, stamp cancelled with ring number cancellation 16, with a single-circle Eschwege postmark on the cover and an arrival postmark on the back. The postal items include a single franking, an additional stamp on a 3 Kr postal stationery envelope, and a cover to Hungary franked with a 6 Kr Mi 33. Most single stamps have full margins, many with adjacent stamps visible, but some have partially touching margins, also various shades included. The strip of four includes both types, with full margins. The first cover is a single franking from Vöhl to Oberweissbach via Rudolstadt in 1864, with a typical vertical fold and proper cancellations on the back; the stamp has full margins. The second cover is a 6 Kr postal stationery envelope with an additional 6 Kr stamp, sent from Frankfurt to Paris; the stamp has two intact margins and two cut/trimmed margins, with a Paris arrival postmark on the back.
