1561 image1st issue 1852 - 1858, 1 Sgr black/blue Mi 4, a beautiful collection page featuring five single stamps, a pair, and a postal item. All stamps have full margins, with some even showing a slight part of the adjacent stamp, and one stamp includes a large portion of the stamp to its left. The loose stamps feature impressive cancellations, including a very fine Hanau ring numeral cancel 29 (authenticated by Haferkamp 1972), a single-line Greitz cancel neatly applied twice on the stamp (authentication/short certificate: Sem 2004), and a very wide-margined stamp with a Rinteln ring numeral cancel 58, among others. One of the stamps is unused without gum, with a slight corner crease (authentication: Sem 2004). A beautiful small single franking from Stadtlengsfeld to Meiningen, with postmarks on the reverse. 1562 image1st issue 1852 - 1858, 2 Sgr Mi 5, a beautiful collection featuring six stamps and two postal items. All single stamps have full margins and attractive cancellations. One cancelled stamp has a horizontal crease, one stamp has wide sheet margin (signed: Richter), and one stamp is mint *. A fine single franking from Hanau to Schweinfurt in 1859, with arrival mark on the reverse, stamp with full margins. The second postal item was sent to the Netherlands, franked with 2 Sgr Mi 5 and a 3 Sgr Mi 6 stamps. The stamps are cancelled with Greitz ring numeral cancels 292, with a Greiz 1857 and a Franco mark on the envelope. Leipzig transit mark and other postal markings on reverse. The margins of the stamps on the envelope range from intact to slightly in cut. The envelope shows typical folds and signs of aging. (Image)

1563 image1st issue 1852 - 1858, 3 Sgr Mi 6, A STUNNING selection featuring nine cancelled single stamps and one postal item. All stamps have full margins, with many showing parts of adjacent stamps. The highlight is a stamp with a Bremen ring numeral cancel 301, which includes small portions of all eight surrounding stamps! Excellent cancellations, with many stamps also bearing guarantee marks on the reverse. The beautiful single franking was sent from Hamburg via Innsbruck to Hall in Tyrol (Austria) in 1857, with transit and arrival marks on the back. 1565 image1st issue 1852 - 1858, postal item sent from Darmstadt to Amsterdam in 1858, beautifully franked with three different colored stamps: 1 Kr, 6 Kr, and 9 Kr (Mi 7, 9, and 10). The 1 Kr stamp has full margins, while the 6 Kr and 9 Kr stamps have margins ranging from full to slightly in cut. 1572 image2nd issue 1859 - 1861, 1/4 Sgr reddish-orange Mi 13, a beautiful collection page featuring one mint * and four cancelled single stamps, one cancelled pair, and a single franking postal item. All single stamps and the pair have fine full margins, with one stamp (29 Hanau) even showing parts of seven surrounding stamps. Attractive circular numeral cancellations, some are signed. The postal item is a local letter sent at a reduced rate from Berka to Blankenhain in 1862. The stamp has its left vertical side partially cut in at the top, while the other three margins are full. All collection page stamps have fine margins, some very tight but otherwise full, with one stamp (291 Gera) showing parts of five adjacent stamps. Some stamps have expert marks. The letter was sent from Apolda via Weimar to Osmanstedt in 1862, with an arrival postmark on reverse. It includes six cancelled single stamps, such as an excellently postmarked Eisenach 6.6.1862 stamp on a small fragment, and an almost perfect ring number cancel 26 (Grossalmerode) on a fragment. A spectacular pair features parts of all 10 adjacent stamps—huge margins! Additionally, there is a letter sent from Hulda via Hanau to Würzburg in 1862, franked with a vertical pair of 1 Sgr stamps. 1576 image2nd issue 1859 - 1861, 2 Sgr red Mi 16, a fine selection presented on two collection pages. It includes six stamps and two postal items. Among the six stamps, one is mint *, while the others have various cancellations, including near-perfect ring number cancels 71 (Steinbach-Hallenberg) and 301 (Bremen, signed). All stamps have full margins, some even oversized. The first postal item is a single 2 Sgr franking from Rinteln via Frankfurt to Hanau in 1862, with the stamp having full margins. The second cover, sent from Cassel via Vienna to Laa, is franked with both 2 Sgr and 3 Sgr Mi 17 stamps. The envelope bears a red "Chargé" cachet, registered in Vienna. The stamp margins range from oversized to slightly cut. (Image)

1578 image2nd issue 1859 - 1861, 5 Sgr brownish purple Mi 18, a beautiful single franking sent from Greiz to The Hague, Netherlands, in 1863. The stamp is neatly cancelled with a Greiz ring number postmark 292, and the cover bears a single-ring Greitz 17/6 cancellation along with the Dutch border marking "Franco." Arrival mark on reverse. The stamp has two full, partly very wide margins, while the other two are slightly cut in at small sections (certificate states 75% margins). A stunning correctly rated postal item.
