The franking labels with some short perf and like the official stamp some toned or tinted tooth tips, otherwise perfect except for slight patina. FELD POST RELAIS No.25. 1/11"rückseitig auf eingeschriebenem Briefkuvert nach Odessa, Russland, mit vorderseitigem Ankunftsstempel vom 30. Oktober (Julianischer Kalender). Einige kurze Zähne und 2 Werte unmerkliche Randspalte sowie einer mit kleinem Fleck, sonst einwandfreie Erhaltung. 1868, ¼ groschen brownish purple rouletted in mixed franking with ¼ groschen light red violet perforated with boxed cancel "BRANDENBURG A.D. HAVEL 4.5.71" as postage paid on folded letter to Verchesar. The stamps have hardly visible perforations and perforation irregularities, the envelope shows traces of cleaning, a decorative and very rare mixed franking of the same value from the first day of the Reichspost, certificate Mehlmann BPP (2005)

1868, ¼ Groschen bräunlichlila durchstochen in Mischfrankatur mit ¼ Groschen hellrotviolett gezähnt mit Rahmenstempel "BRANDENBURG A.D. HAVEL 4.5.71" als portogerechte Frankatur auf Faltbriefhülle in den eigenen Landzustellbereich nach Verchesar. Die Marken haben kaum sichtbare Zähnungs- bzw. 1869, Hamburg city postage stamp (½ Schilling) lilac-brown perforated with horseshoe cancellation "HAMBURG I.A. 25.MÄRZ.74" (Spalink 17-1)on local postcard (private pre-printed form) "Deutsche Reichspost." to the curator D. E. Schmeltz of the Godeffroy Museum in good and perfect condition, a quite late use of this stamp.

The Hamburg merchant and shipowner Johann Cesar Godeffroy owned the largest private natural history collection in the world at his time and presented it in the Godeffroy Museum, which existed in Hamburg from 1861 to 1885. The sender of this map was the Italian politician, diplomat and geographer Negri Cristooforo, who was Rector of the University of Turin and Consul General in Hamburg, among other things.

1869, Hamburger Stadtpostmarke (½ Schilling) lilabraun gezähnt mit Hufeisenstempel "HAMBURG I.A. 25.MÄRZ.74" (Spalink 17-1)auf Ortspostkarte (privates vorgedrucktes Formular) "Deutsche Reichspost." an den Kustos D. E. Schmeltz des Godeffroy-Museums in guter und einwandfreier Erhaltung, eine recht späte Verwendung dieser Marke.

Der Hamburger Kaufmann und Reeder Johann Cesar Godeffroy besaß zu seiner Zeit weltweit die größte private naturkundliche Sammlung und präsentierte sie im Museum Godeffroy, das von 1861 bis 1885 in Hamburg existierte. Der Absender dieser Karte war der italienische Politiker, Diplomat und Geograf Negri Cristooforo, der u.a. Rektor der Universität Turin und Generalkonsul in Hamburg war.

1862/63, postal stationery cutting 1 Groschen dark rose, full to large margins imperforated square with neatly boxed cancel "JEVER 29/10" on envelope to Oldenburg, franked postage paid for a letter in the 1st distance zone. The glue used for fastening is slightly brownish to the front, a very inconspicuous diagonal crease in the value stamp is slightly broken in the centre, otherwise perfect and original condition. The use of postal stationery cut-outs was not officially permitted in Oldenburg and is accordingly scarce, we have only registered 2 wide pieces of the 1 Groschen value imperforated square on letter. 1862/63, Ganzsachenausschnitt 1 Groschen dunkelrosa, voll- bis breitrandig viereckig geschnitten mit sauber aufgesetztem Rahmenstempel "JEVER 29/10" auf Briefhülle nach Oldenburg, portogerecht frankiert für einen Brief in der 1. Entfernungszone. Der zum befestigen verwendete Leim schlägt nach vorne leicht bräunlich durch, ein ganz unauffälliger diagonaler Bug im Wertstempel ist in der Mitte gering gebrochen, sonst einwandfreie und ursprüngliche Erhaltung. Die Verwendung von Ganzsachenausschnitten war in Oldenburg nicht offiziell erlaubt und ist dementsprechend selten, vom 1 Groschen-Wert haben wir nur 2 weitere viereckig geschnittene Stücke auf Brief registriert.
