The envelope with patina and above with glued tear, the two stamps each with two small nicks resp. corner tooth defects, otherwise in good condition. "KAISERL.DEUTSCH.P.A.CONSTANTINOPEL 8.7.73" auf R-Briefkuvert mit schwarzem Rahmenstempel "Recomandirt" (Einfeldt Nr. 1) nach Landshut mit Ankunftsstempel. Der Umschlag mit Patina und oben mit verklebtem Einriss, die beiden Marken jeweils mit zwei kleinen Kerben bzw. Eckzahnfehler, ansonsten in guter Erhaltung. Aus Konstantinopel sind eingeschriebene Briefe nach Deutschland sehr selten

1852, small cash-paid envelope without despatch datestamp, with routing mark "per Trieste", to Constantinople. Transit stamps of Frankfurt and Vienna on reverse; on face marked "frei" and "frq 12", changed to "15".

1852, kleines bar bezahltes Briefkuvert ohne Aufgabestempel, mit Leitvermerk "per Triest", nach Konstantinopel. Rückseitig Durchgangsstempel von Frankfurt und Wien; vorderseitig Vermerk "frei" und "frq 12", abgeändert in "15".

"CONSTANTINOPEL N.P.A. 2/9 70" neatly on and franked envelope to Ribnitz in Mecklenburg, with railway postmark "....-BRESLAU" on the reverse; stamped "4/6½" in blue pencil. Slight patina and usual signs of transport. Deutsche Post postage due covers are very rare.

NDP 1 groschen carmine and 2 groschen ultramarine, with "CONSTANTINOPEL N.P.A. 3/3 71" franking mark on letter with part of the contents to Leipzig, with horseshoe issue cancellation. The 2 groschen slightly glued over the margin, but only minimally bumped in the perforation, otherwise perfect.

NDP 1 Groschen karmin und 2 Groschen ultramarin, mit EKr. "CONSTANTINOPEL N.P.A. 3/3 71" auf Brief mit Teil des Inhaltes nach Leipzig, mit Hufeisen-Ausgabestempel. Die 2 Groschen gering über den Rand geklebt, aber nur minimal in der Zähnung bestoßen, sonst einwandfrei.

NDP 2 Groschen ultramarine, 2 single values, with "CONSTANTINOPEL N.P.A. 10/1 " (without year number "71") tied to small piece. Perfect except for minor tooth shortening. In this form an extraordinarily scarce forerunner.

½ Groschen brick-red and 2 Groschen ultramarine in horizontal pair, with neatly upward and side-marked "KAISERL.DEUTSCH.P.A.CONSTANTINOPEL 26/4 72" on small envelope, with side-marked red "FRANCO" and faint red transit postmark partly overlapping the postage paid, to the USA. Reverse seal cut out, the right 2 groschen small margin gap in the upper margin and usual minor tooth shortening, otherwise in good condition for a transatlantic letter.

½ Groschen ziegelrot und 2 Groschen ultramarin im waagerechten Paar, mit sauber auf- und nebengesetztem EKr. "KAISERL.DEUTSCH.P.A.CONSTANTINOPEL  26/4 72" auf kleinem Briefkuvert, mit nebengesetztem roten "FRANCO" und teils auf die Frankatur übergehendem schwachen roten Transitstempel, in die USA. Rückseitiges Verschlusssiegel ausgeschnitten, die rechte 2 Groschen kleiner Randspalt im Oberrand und übliche geringe Zahnverkürzungen, sonst für einen Transatlantik-Brief gute Erhaltung.

Internal service stamps 10 groschen light grey-brown and 30 groschen ultramarine, each with handwritten cancellation of Constantinople. Both repaired, but visually very attractive. Very rare. Each value certificate Jäschke-L. BPP (2023)

½ groschen orange, 2 groschen ultramarine and 2½ on 2½ groschen red-brown, with cancellation "KAISERL.DEUTSCH.P.A.CONSTANTINOPEL 14/12 74 " on forwarder letter from Brousse, with reverse cancellation of Lebet & Fils, to Lyon. The original routing mark "Via Trieste" changed to "Via Odessa"; arrival postmark Lyon dated 21 December. The 2 groschen already pasted on with a fold, the ½ groschen somewhat bumped due to edge gluing on the right (envelope folded over here), otherwise attractive condition. A scarce and attractive letter with the rare 5 groschen postage via Odessa.

½ Groschen orange, 2 Groschen Ultramarin und 2½ auf 2½ Groschen rotbraun, mit EKr. "KAISERL.DEUTSCH.P.A.CONSTANTINOPEL  14/12 74 " auf Forwarder-Brief aus Brousse, mit rückseitigem Stempel der Firma Lebet & Fils, nach Lyon. Der ursprüngliche Leitvermerk "Via Trieste" abgeändert in "Via Odessa"; Ankunftsstempel Lyon vom 21. Dezember. Die 2 Groschen bereits bügig aufgeklebt, die ½ Groschen durch Randklebung rechts etwas gestoßen (Hülle hier umgefaltet), sonst schöne Erhaltung. Ein seltener und attraktiver Brief mit dem seltenen 5 Groschen-Porto über Odessa.
