A very specialised collection beginning with the 1885 first Paris reprints with over 140 stamps organized by denomination and written-up on exhibition pages. The study begins with the 1 chahi black in gray black and deep black shades imperf and perf, followed by the imperf 1 kran carmine on yellowish paper inc. full sheet of 10, then the perf 4k canary yellow with single and block of 8, 1k rose carmine imperf and dark carmine perf type inc. block of 8, 2 chahis black imperf inc. sheet of 10, 2 chahis dull blue perf in single, pair, block of 4 and block of 8, the 4 chahis orange brown perf with a single and pair and the 8 chahis green with sheet of 10. Then follow the high values inc. 5kr purple imperf and cds "used" perf example, 5kr gold inc. full sheet of 10 and the 1 toman gold with imperf single and perf strip of three. There is also an interesting range of further reference copies, postal stationery cut-outs etc. An expertly assembled collection of these seldom seen official reprints. This is a great opportunity for the specialist to acquire a reference collection including rare multiples, as well as even scarcer sheets that would be very difficult to replace today. Approx. 2000 mint and used stamps virtually all one of a kind, housed in a large volume, 19th and 20th centuries, somewhat disorganised chronologically having been formed from stripping down collections over the years, yet that is part of its charm. We note 1876 shah Qajar 5s mint, 1881/1882 suns including engraved types mint and used, range of 1902 "1319" provisional overprints on chahis issues, revenues, lots of early 20th century provisionals, surcharges, officials, etc, through to useful mid-20th century defin series, etc. Completely uncataloged, must be viewed carefully as anything could be here.
Collection of thousands of stamps from the classics to the 1990s housed in a large KaBe album, virtually all one of a kind mint and used, including scarce 20th century issues. The collection starts off with the Kingdom of Naples and Kingdom of Italy classics inc. 1862 10cts bister first issue on cover (#17, Scott retail $900), then highlights include 1867/77 20cts blue mint signed (#35, Scott retail $800), King Humbert I 10cts claret mint (#46) and 25cts blue unused (#48), 1891/96 5L postally used (#72), 1910 15cts Garibaldi used (#118), 1911 allegory series complete used (#119/122), 1917/28 airposts complete mint (#C1/C11), pneumatic posts with used including 35cts on 40cts red (#D13), etc. The later 20th century becomes highly complete post-WWII, with better including 1948 St. Catherine of Siena complete used (#489/492, C127/C128), 1949 Vascello used (#518), 1950 Florence radio conference complete used (#538/539), 1951 gymnastics complete used (#574/576, Scott retail $1,800), then virtually all never hinged from 1950 onwards including the 1961 Gronchi visit L.205 rose lilac (#834a, Scott retail $1,650), etc. The back of the book also deserves mention, with Venezia-Giulia, Trieste and an interesting group of Italian States including on cover requiring expertization: Parma 40cts black on blue fleur-de-lys (#5), 1859 20cts deep blue (#14a), Papal States1852 7b black on blue, and Genoa to Milan cover with the 10cts blue post-rider handstamp red Genoa straight-line postmark. An excellent collection, offered intact as received, with genuine postal cancelations on most of the earlier 20th century and pristine mint never hinged thereafter and with lots of potential in the classics, notwithstanding the postal history possibilities .

"regno d'italia" o/ps complete to 5L mint never hinged and WWII o/ps, Reggenza Italiana del Carnaro o/ps for Veglia and Arbe and much more. Completely uncataloged and with sleepers undoubtedly present, please inspect carefully.
A useful collection of hundreds of stamps from the classics to mid-20th century, housed in a Scott specialty album, with much more than first meets the eye. We note Italian States inc. Modena, Parma, Roman States with 1867 5cts, 20cts, 40cts without stop after value and 80cts imperfs all attractive mint, Sardinia, Tuscany with lots of lions in mixed condition, then Italy from classics onwards including 1925/26 Emmanuel III 25th anniversary with all the perf varieties inc. 1.25L perf 11 used, 1933 Balbo flight triptychs pair mint (small faults) and better back of the book inc. 1874/78 POs abroad 5cts slate green mint, Offices in Crete to 1L brown and green mint, Offices in Africa with 1909 5cts green mint x2, Aegean mint series, Cos complete first series of ten mint, Lisso similarly with the good 20cts brown orange mint, etc, leading on to Rhodes with 1921 15cts slate mint signed and 85cts red brown mint, 1929 10L olive brown top value mint, hydrological congress 25cts, 10cts, 20cts and 30cts mint, the latter three never hinged, 1943 'pro assistenza Egeo' surcharges complete mint never hinged and signed, etc. Smaller POs resume with Scarpanto with the good 30cts orange mint, signed, etc, followed by occupations inc. Collection in a Minkus album, with strong 20th century for more comprehensive than usually encountered, though many of the stamps have been affected by oxidization of the mounts. In the first pages there are some interesting 19th century classic inc better syllabics with better high values. The 20th century including better mint never hinged key value 1938/39 14s rose lake and pale rose coil stamp mint (#279)followed by all the National Parks inc. 1939 volcanoes complete mint (#290/293) and the corresponding souvenir sheet mint never hinged (#293a), then the 1947 100y brown carmine mint never hinged (#372), 1946 postal service anniversary souvenir sheet mint never hinged (#378a), 1948 Mishima (#407), Nagano (#437) and Shikoku (#438) souvenir sheets, 1948 'beauty looking back' (#422) inc. souvenir sheet, 1949 'moon and geese' also with both mint single and the sheet of five, lots of further national parks and other souvenir sheets, all the way through to 1980s, as well as useful Manchukuo and Ryukyus.
