532 nh/ogPB 498/517, C1/K18 #498/517, C1/K18, Massive plate number single accumulation of over 1,350 mint stamps, all but about 100 stamps are the 1917-19 Washington-Franklin issue where the collector was attempting to acquire as many different plate numbers and positions as possible, so there is a vast array of the different plate numbers used on these issues, also includes plate number singles of a few early air posts including #C1-3 and three #C18 and a nice group of 21 Offices in China overprints, lacking only three values of being complete but including the $1.00 on 50c Light violet and $2.00 on $1.00 Violet brown, o.g., largely hinged throughout but some never hinged are to be found, condition varies in terms of centering because the primary emphasis was the accumulation of as many different plate numbers as possible, but nice fine-very fine items are found throughout; also includes over 100 plate blocks of six of 2c Rose (#499); total catalog value this lot is over 19,000.00.
