Internet, Mail, and Phone Auction 3122 - March 26, 2025

Sam Houston Philatelics next auction will close on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 1:00 PM, Central Time. The sale contains 782 lots, with material in all price ranges and something for everyone, collectors and dealers alike. A few of the highlights include the following:
  • UNITED STATES, There are (64) U.S. lots offered, including a few Classic issues, and a few 1869 Pictorials, like the 90¢ carmine. There are some nice Banknotes (ex. no. 155, 90¢ dark brown and no. 191 the 90¢ carmine), a couple of Columbian issues, and Washington/Franklins (nos. 505, 519 and 523). Also, you'll find much more interesting material!
  • COVERS, Sparse offering this auction, only (5). Three covers and one First Day Cover.

  • AIRMAIL AND BACK OF BOOK ISSUES, This section contains (48) lots. There are individual lots for the Graf Zepplin issues; C13, C14, C15 and C18; some Special Delivery issues, and other BOB items. Highlights include a PR4a Fine NH, an R60b Original Process, partially perforated (imperf horizontally) and an R65a Foreign Exchange, imperforated.

  • ERRORS, FREAKS, AND ODDITIES, There are (36) lots: with misperforations, printing and color errors. Highlights include a 2835var World Cup Soccer, bottom margin block of 4, imperforate,black color omitted and another 2835var World Cup Soccer, upper right plate block of 4, no. 5, imperforate, all colors omitted except black.

  • AUTOGRAPHS & MISCELLANEOUS, There are (26) lots offered with (13) Autograph lots; (8) lots of medals and tokens with a couple other miscellaneous items.

  • U.S. POSSESSIONS, There are (3) lots of Confederate States and (1) Ryukyu Island.

  • GENERAL FOREIGN, COLLECTIONS, There are (149) lots to consider, from Australia to Turkey, many Canadian, and Great Britain issues. Highlights include Chad C84var Imperforate block of 25, Trieste-Zone B C21 300d Violet and Green, Yugoslavian Occupation of Trieste, Germany 5//O8 collection of about (1,000) stamps hinged to Scott album pages, and a Germany accumulation of about (7,000) stamps loose in no. 10 envelopes.

  • DUCK STAMPS & PRINTS, Contains (414) lots including some beautifully rendered hand-painted Duck covers and a selection of outstanding Remarques (44) - many must-see! Also, there are Artist Signed Federal and State Stamps (9). The State Duck stamps category consists of Singles and Errors and nearly (60) Governor's Editions lots - many hand-signed.
