A two volume collection giving a wonderful overview of South Carolina Postal History, includes a large number of Handstamped Paids from a wide variety of towns, a few Adversity covers are noted, additionally there is a wonderful range of covers from Columbia including a couple provisionals and some nice Charleston covers as well, condition is mixed, but the is a fine lot worth careful inspection.

An outstanding collection housed in nine Scott album all individually mounted and neatly written up covering virtually ever aspect of Confederate Philately in Richmond, Va., many better covers and usages abound in this fascinating collection, included are Stampless covers (both civilian & soldier usages), Independent States & United States CSA usages, Adversity covers, Wallpaper Covers, Patriotic covers, Missent usages, covers with Advertised markings, Blue Richmond Postmarks, one interesting cover addressed to the Quartermaster of the Irish Battalion, Overpaid Drop usages, Turned covers, Forwarded usages, etc., noted is one cover franked with 2¢ Green (#3), 5 or six covers franked with 10¢ rose (#5), three covers with #8 single and one with strip of 5, three cover franked with 10¢ TEN (#9), a 10¢ Frameline on a piece, three covers franked with 20¢ green (#13), plus a number of combination frankings and much more, mixed condition, however this is a very nice lot and deserves careful inspection.
