Cheshire Stamp Auctions Sale - 8362

Public Auction - June 14-15, 2024

This spectacular 2-day public auction includes lots from over 150 vendors. We see a number of large British Empire collections highlighted by a collection of mint stamps in both volumes of the "New Imperial" album estimated at £14,000 to £18,000 then many other impressive Commonwealth collections estimated between £7500 and £20.

We are delighted to offer the trade and collectors alike hundreds of 'box lots', amongst the Country lots we note a rare newly- discovered example of the Australia 1915 5s Kangaroo stamp with doubly printed frame, and a "BERMUDA BY AIR" exhibition collection. Our Great Britain lots include a significant range of Queen Victoria lots with proofs, many varieties including inverted watermarks, values to £5 oranges and much else, later we note specialised collections of the 1912-24 stamps with control numbers and significant collections and accumulations of modern stamps.
