"23" HADERSLEBEN, clearly cancelled on 1855, 2 Skilling blue, full to large margins, as postage paid on local cover with adjacent red single circle cancellation "HADERSLEV 20/1 1864", additionally cancelled on reverse as arrival datestamp. Only very few local covers from the duchies are registered, this is the only one we have registered from Hadersleben. Certificate Moeller BPP (2005)

"23" HADERSLEBEN, klar abgeschlagen auf 1855, 2 Skilling blau, voll- bis breitrandig, als portogerechte Frankatur auf Ortsbriefhülle mit nebengesetztem roten Einkreisstempel "HADERSLEV 20/1 1864", zusätzlich rückseitig als Ankunftsstempel abgeschlagen. Es sind nur ganz wenige Ortsbriefe aus den Herzogtümer registriert, dies ist der einzige von uns registrierte aus Hadersleben. Fotoattest Moeller BPP (2005)

"L.P.No.2" HANERAU, the boxed cancel of the Landpost-Briefsammlungsstelle, clearly cancelled on advertising cover of the American confectionery and candy manufacturer P.H. Heinrich, Memphis, Tennessee with handwritten note "franco. 27/8." and red chalk "6" (shilling) and single circle cancellation of the superior postoffice "ITZEHOE 1/9 1860", to Calw in Württemberg with transit postmark of Hamburg, Württemberg railway postmark and arrival postmark. An unusual and very decorative piece.

"L.P.No.2" HANERAU, der Rahmenstempel der Landpost-Briefsammlungsstelle, klar abgeschlagen auf Werbeumschlag der amerikanischen Konfekt- und Bonbon-Manufaktur P.H. Heinrich, Memphis, Tennessee mit handschriftlichem Vermerk "franco. 27/8." und Rötel "6" (Schilling) sowie  Einkreisstempel des übergeordneten Postamtes "ITZEHOE 1/9 1860", nach Calw in Württemberg mit Durchgangsstempel von Hamburg, württembergischem Bahnpoststempel und Ankunftsstempel. Ein ungewöhnliches und sehr dekoratives Stück.

"117", double upward, with faintly adjacent franking mark of Heide, on 4 Skilling orange-brown, partly touched, on folded cover from Wesselburen with adjacent foot postmark to the editorial office of the railway newspaper in Bergedorf, with transit postmark of Hamburg and arrival postmark. Partial franking to Bergedorf was not permitted at that time, the letter was taxed at "3" silver groschen and 1¼ schillings postage was charged at the bottom of the stamp (postage stamp). The envelope separated in a fold and a small tear at bottom, otherwise in good condition. An interesting letter. Certificate Möller (1992)

"117", doppelt aufgesetzt, mit schwach nebengesetztem EKr. von Heide, auf 4 Skilling orangebraun, teils berührt, auf Faltbrief aus Wesselburen mit nebengesetztem Fußpoststempel an die Redaktion der Eisenbahnzeitung in Bergedorf, mit Transitstempel von Hamburg und Ankunftsstempel. Ein Teilfranco nach Bergedorf war zu dieser Zeit unzulässig, der Brief mit "3" Silbergroschen taxiert und unter Verrechnung der verklebten Marke 1¼ Schilling Nachporto erhoben. Die Briefhülle in einer Faltung angetrennt und unten kleiner Einriss, sonst gute Erhaltung. Ein interessanter Brief. Fotoattest Möller (1992)

"118" HEILIGENHAFEN, each straight and crystal clear on horizontal pair 4 R.B.S. olive brown, Thiele II, both briefly touched once, otherwise full to large margins, on registered envelope of 2nd weight class, with adjacent single-circle cancellation "HEILIGENHAFEN 25/6 1855" to Kiel. The fee for recombination and receipt form in the height of "8" R.B.S. were paid in cash by the sender. The pair slightly defective due to pre-separation cuts, otherwise attractive condition. "118" HEILIGENHAFEN, jeweils gerade und glasklar auf waagerechten Paar 4 R.B.S. olivbraun, Thiele II, beide einmal kurz berührt, sonst voll- bis breitrandig, auf eingeschriebener Briefhülle der 2.Gewichtsstufe, mit nebengesetztem Einkreisstempel "HEILIGENHAFEN 25/6 1855" nach Kiel. Die Gebühr für Rekombination und Quittungsformular in Höhe von "8" R.B.S. wurden vom Absender bar bezahlt. Das Paar durch Vortrennschnitte gering fehlerhaft, sonst schöne Erhaltung. HUSUM: Cover with 4 R.B.S. brown, Ferslew, full to large margins, cancelled by ring cancel with dot, with adjacent Danish circle cancel "HUSUM 7 3 1852" on envelope to Eckernförde.

HUSUM: Briefhülle mit 4 R.B.S. braun, Ferslew, voll- bis breitrandig, entwertet durch Ringsstempel mit Punkt, mit nebengesetztem dänischen Kreisstempel "HUSUM 7 3 1852" auf Briefhülle nach Eckernförde.

"HUSUM 12/9" (1860), single circle cancellation with post horn, adjacent on postal advance wrapper of 2nd weight class (4-8 Loth) to Heide, franked with vertical pair 1858, 4 Skilling brown, full to large margins, cancelled by oblong stamp with dot. Reverse railway postmark "Elmsh.-Itzeh." and arrival postmark. A wide "4" Skilling advance fee had to be paid in cash and is noted on face. An interesting and very rare piece in very attractive condition.

"HUSUM 12/9" (1860), Einkreisstempel mit Posthorn, nebengesetztem auf Postvorschuss-Streifband der 2. Gewichtsstufe (4-8 Loth) nach Heide, frankiert mit senkrechtem Paar 1858, 4 Skilling braun, voll- bis breitrandig, entwertet durch Langstempel mit Punkt. Rückseitig Bahnpoststempel  "Elmsh.-Itzeh." und Ankunftsstempel. Weitere "4" Skilling Vorschussgebühr mussten in bar bezahlt werden und sind vorderseitig vermerkt. Ein interessantes und sehr seltenes Stück in sehr schöner Erhaltung.

"119" on 4 Skilling orange-brown in horizontal strip of 5, partly slightly touched resp. slightly touched on the right, mostly full to large margins, with neatly adjacent franking mark "ITZEHOE 25 7 1855" on envelope of the 5th weight class, with part of the contents, to Kiel. The strip slightly creased resp. minor pressure marks, otherwise in good condition. An attractive and scarce domestic postage paid cover.

"119" auf 4 Skilling orangebraun im waagerechten 5er-Streifen, teils leicht berührt bzw. rechts etwas angeschnitten, meist voll- bis breitrandig, mit sauber nebengesetztem EKr. "ITZEHOE 25 7 1855" auf Briefhülle der 5.Gewichtsstufe, mit Teil des Inhaltes, nach Kiel. Der Streifen leichte Aufklebeknitter bzw. geringe Druckspuren, sonst gute Erhaltung. Eine attraktive und seltene Inlands Frankatur.

"157" and adjacent "BRAMSTEDT 7 9 1861", the stamp (postage stamp) partly a little touched and adhesive fold, otherwise perfect. An attractive letter.

Red oblong stamp "Aus Dänemark" on the 16 skilling upward. The postage is divided into 9 Skilling (= 2 Silbergroschen) postage to Hamburg and 13 Skilling (= 3 Silbergroschen) postage abroad.
