"124" NEUMÜNSTER neatly on 2 Skilling blue and 2 single values 1858, 8 Skilling green, unusually stuck right above and left at bottom, on envelope with neatly adjacent blue posthorn cancellation "NEUMÜNSTER 6/11" to Rostock. One stamp (margin (slightly) touched on one side, the reverse of the envelope slightly missing and small tear at bottom, otherwise perfect and attractive condition. An extremely scarce franking combination for the 18 Skilling postage from the 2nd Danish to the 2nd German rayon. Certificate Möller BPP (2007)

"124" NEUMÜNSTER sauber auf 2 Skilling blau und 2 Einzelwerten 1858, 8 Skilling grün, ungewöhnlicherweise rechts oben und links unten verklebt, auf Briefkuvert mit sauber nebengesetztem blauem Posthorn-Stempel "NEUMÜNSTER 6/11" nach Rostock. Eine Marke einseitig leicht berührt, das Kuvert rückseitig kleine Fehlstelle und kleiner Einriß unten, sonst einwandfreie und schöne Erhaltung. Eine außerordentlich seltene Frankaturkombination für das 18 Skilling-Porto aus dem 2. dänischen- in den 2. deutschen Rayon. Fotoattest Möller BPP (2007)

"124" NEUMÜNSTER, neatly on horizontal pair 8 Skilling green, slightly touched right, otherwise full to large margins, on envelope with adjacent blue posthorn cancellation "NEUMÜNSTER 16/3" to Großenhain in Saxony. A wide "1" skilling was paid in cash on posting and noted to the left of the postage paid. The postage was 1 Silbergroschen (= 4 Skilling) to Hamburg and 3 Silbergroschen (= 13 Skilling) further franking. An attractive and scarce letter with 'split franking'. Weitere "1" Skilling wurden bei der Aufgabe bar bezahlt und links neben der Frankatur vermerkt. Das Porto betrug 1 Silbergroschen (= 4 Skilling) bis Hamburg und 3 Silbergroschen (= 13 Skilling) Weiterfranko. Ein attraktiver und seltener Brief mit 'geteiltem Franko'. "54" RENDSBURG, clean on 1858, 4 Skilling brown, slightly touched at right, otherwise full to large margins, with slightly overlapping "RENDSBURG 15/3 1864" on small decorative cover with printed pink flower tendrils, to Schiernau. The stamp (postage stamp) glued slightly over the margin above, but perfect, minor traces of age. Decorative covers from Schleswig-Holstein are extremely scarce.

"54" RENDSBURG, sauber auf 1858, 4 Skilling braun, rechts leicht angeschnitten, sonst voll- bis breitrandig, mit leicht übergehendem EKr. "RENDSBURG 15/3 1864" auf kleinem Zierbrief mit gedruckten rosafarbenen Blumenranken, nach Schiernau. Die Marke oben etwas über den Rand geklebt, aber einwandfrei, geringe Altersspuren. Zierbriefe von Schleswig-Holstein sind außerordentlich selten.

"79" WYK, clean on 1864, oval issue 4 Skilling orange-red. Small corner error, otherwise in good condition. As the North Sea islands were only liberated from the Danes in July 1864, the oval issue was issued here for a short time. Only a few pieces with Schleswig-Holstein cancellations are known.

"79" WYK, sauber auf 1864, Ovalausgabe 4 Skilling orangerot. Kleiner Eckfehler, sonst gute Erhaltung. Da die Nordseeinseln erst im Juli 1864 von den Dänen befreit wurden, gelangte hier die Ovalausgabe noch kurze Zeit zu Ausgabe. Es sind nur wenige Stücke mit Schleswig-Holstein-Stempeln bekannt.

"170" , cancelled duplex stamp on 1854, 2 Skilling blue, 8 Skilling green and 16 Skilling greyish violet as well as 1863, 4 Skilling reddish brown, with adjacent despatch datestamp "HOLST.EB.P.Sp.B. 7/1" (1864) on envelope with cancellation "Kiel" to Amsterdam. Some stamps slightly touched, otherwise perfect. A very rare and attractive 4-colour franking from the last days of the Danish Post to the Netherlands. Signed Kurt Maier, Heidelberg.

Marken teils leicht berührt, sonst einwandfrei. Eine sehr seltene und attraktive 4-Farben-Frankatur aus den letzten Tagen der Dänischen Post in die Niederlande. Signiert Kurt Maier, Heidelberg.

"192" and duplex "192/SL.JB.P.SP.B. 6/5"(1862), cancelled side by side on horizontal pair 1854, 2 Skilling blue, full to large margins, on envelope from Rendsburg to Kiel. Attractive and perfect condition. An interesting letter with exceptionally scarce depiction of the 4 Skilling postage due and quite unusual cancellation. Certificate Nielsen (1998)
