2 Schilling rose, slightly touched at base left, otherwise full to large margins and fresh colours, with clearly applied rust cancel "18" and adjacent Danish circle cancel "KIEL 2/2" on folded cover (one side flap missing, one shortened) to Gersdorf near Kröpelin in Mecklenburg-Schwerin. The letter is franked postage paid to Hamburg, for the remaining distance "3" Schilling were collected from the addressee. The stamp (postage stamp) is perfect except for a small corner crease and a tiny age spot, parts of the address have been blacked out. A very interesting piece in terms of postal history; only very few foreign covers of the 1st issue are registered. Certificates Jakubek BPP (2002) and Moeller BPP (2006)

2 Schilling rosa, links unten leicht berührt, sonst voll- bis breitrandig und farbfrisch, mit klar aufgesetztem Roststempel "18" und nebengesetztem dänischen Kreisstempel "KIEL 2/2" auf Faltbrief (eine Seitenklappe fehlend, eine verkürzt) nach Gersdorf bei Kröpelin in Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Der Brief ist portogerecht frankiert bis Hamburg, für die verbleibende Strecke wurden vom Empfänger "3" Schilling eingezogen. Die Marke ist bis auf einen kleinen Eckknitter und ein winziges Altersfleckchen einwandfrei, Teile der Adresse wurden geschwärzt. Ein postgeschichtlich sehr interessantes Stück; es sind nur ganz wenige Auslandsbriefe der 1. Ausgabe registriert. Fotoatteste Jakubek BPP (2002) und Moeller BPP (2006)
