1851, 1 Ngr. black on matt grey-red, full to large margins, with neat no. "1" and adjacent despatch datestamp "DRESDEN 20 JULY" on very attractive colourless embossed decorative cover to Leipzig with back postmark. Arrival cancellation, in good condition

1855, ½ Ngr. black on matt grey, full margins, cancelled by numeral obliteration with adjacent DKr. "LEIPZIG 6 XI 60" on insufficiently franked complaint cover from Leipzig to Grosskugel, there forwarded to Merseburg and taxed with 1½ Sgr.; for the forwarding route an additional single postage rate of 1 Sgr. was required, therefore "1½" cancelled and "2½" postage paid. Slight patina and traces of transport, otherwise a scarce use in good condition

1855, ½ Ngr. schwarz auf mattgrau, vollrandig, entwertet durch Nummernstempel mit nebengesetztem DKr. "LEIPZIG 6 XI 60" auf unzureichend frankierter Reklamationsbrief von Leipzig nach Grosskugel, dort nach Merseburg weiterbefördert und taxiert mit 1½ Sgr.; für die Nachsendestrecke war zusätzlich ein einfaches Portosatz von 1 Sgr. erforderlich, daher "1½" gestrichen und "2½" nachtaxiert. Leichte Patina und Transportspuren, sonst ein seltene Verwendung in guter Erhaltung

This stamp (postage stamp) is one of the scarcities of old German philately; we have registered a total of only twelve covers, most of which rank wide behind the one offered here in terms of quality and appearance. "113" und nebengesetztem Einkreisstempel "ALTONA 5/3" (1864) auf komplettem Faltbrief nach Heide mit Ankunftsstempel vom nächsten Tag. Sehr schöne und tadellose Erhaltung. Diese Marke zählt auf Brief zu den Seltenheit der Altdeutschland-Philatelie; wir haben insgesamt nur zwölf Briefe registriert, von denen die meisten in Bezug auf Qualität und Optik weit hinter dem hier angebotenen rangieren. 1867/67, HERZOGTH.SCHLESWIG 4 Schilling ochre-brown, in mixed franking with 1867, wide rouletted 10, 1¼ Schilling medium grey and 1¼ Schilling dull purple as well as HERZOGTH.HOLSTEIN ½ Schilling green, all fresh colours, with single circle cancellation "WEWELSFLETH 31 12 67" on small parcel cover to Kiel; reverse transit cancellation of Glückstadt and issue cancellation. The lower right corner of the ½ Schilling is missing (somewhat primitively concealed by a glued-on stamp corner), the 1¼ Schilling slightly bumped at right due to edge gluing, the medium grey 1¼ Schilling slightly cornered at bottom right, otherwise in perfect condition apart from slight patina. A very unusual last day cover with a probably unique franking combination. Signed Bela Sekula, certificate Möller BPP (2021)

1867/67, HERZOGTH.SCHLESWIG 4 Schilling ockerbraun, in Mischfrankatur mit 1867, weit durchstochen 10, 1¼ Schilling mittelgrau und 1¼ Schilling mattlila sowie HERZOGTH.HOLSTEIN ½ Schilling grün, alle farbfrisch, mit Einkreisstempel "WEWELSFLETH 31 12 67" auf kleinem Paketbegleitbrief nach Kiel; rückseitig Durchgangsstempel von Glückstadt und Ausgabestempel. Bei der ½ Schilling fehlt die rechte untere Ecke (etwas primitiv durch hinzugeklebte Markenecke kaschiert), die 1¼ Schilling durch Randklebung rechts etwas gestoßen, die mittelgraue 1¼ Schilling unten rechts gering eckrund, sonst bis auf geringe Patina in einwandfreier Erhaltung. Ein ganz außergewöhnlicher Letzttags-Brief mit wahrscheinlich einmaliger Frankaturkombination. Signiert Bela Sekula, Fotoattest Möller BPP (2021)

Sch. vivid red carmine and 4 Sch. brown ochre in vertical pairs, clearly cancelled by cancellation "KIEL 25 9 66" on envelope to Antwerp with reverse arrival postmark, light patina and the usual traces of age and transport to be expected, otherwise in very good condition. A quite extraordinary letter with very rare destination, we know of only one other letter to Belgium!

1865, 1? Sch. lebhaftrotkarmin und 4 Sch. braunocker in senkrechten Paaren, klar entwertet durch Stempel "KIEL 25 9 66" auf Kuvert nach Antwerpen mit rückseitigem Ankunftsstempel, leichte Patina sowie zu erwartende übliche Alters- bzw. Transportspuren sonst in sehr guter Erhaltung. Ein ganz außerordentlicher Brief mit sehr seltener Destination, uns sind nur einen weiteren Brief nach Belgien bekannt!

1850, 1 Schilling blue in a block of four from the top right sheet corner of four, including the distinctive type '1 flattened' on field 10, deep in colour and full margins, approx. 15/24 mm sheet margins at top and right, unused with original gum. Prefolded between the vertical pairs as well as diagonal crease in the left pair and horizontal crease in the wide upper margin. An interesting and scarce multiples. Certificate Jakubek BPP (1993)

1850, 1 Schilling blau im Viererblock aus der rechten oberen Bogenecke, dabei auf Feld 10 markante Type '1  abgeflacht', farbtief und vollrandig, ca. 15/24 mm Bogenränder oben und rechts, ungebraucht mit Originalgummi. Zwischen den senkrechten Paaren vorgefaltet sowie diagonaler Bug im linken Paar und waagerechter Bug im breiten Oberrand. Eine interessante und seltene Einheit. Fotoattest Jakubek BPP (1993)
