1867, coat of arms 18 Kreuzer brick-red, very large margins on all sides, one value with approx. 4.5 mm sheet margin, in mixed franking with perforated issue 3 Kreuzer rose with watermark 'narrow lozenges', with double circle cancellation "NÜRNBERG 01 OCT" (1871), on envelope via France to Mexico; reverse French ship's postmark "LIGNE B No. 1". The lower 18 cross at bottom left small abrasion, otherwise perfect and very fresh condition (small part of backflap missing). The letter is franked postage paid to the port of landing according to the 1858 rate, a wide 4 Reales domestic postage had to be paid by the addressee (corresponding tax stamp on the 18 Kreuzer at bottom). 1867, Wappen 18 Kreuzer ziegelrot, allseits sehr breitrandig, ein Wert mit ca. 4,5 mm Bogenrand, in Mischfrankatur mit gezähnter Ausgabe 3 Kreuzer rosa mit Wasserzeichen 'enge Rauten', mit Doppelkreisstempel "NÜRNBERG 01 OCT" (1871), auf Briefkuvert über Frankreich nach Mexiko; rückseitig französischer Schiffspoststempel "LIGNE B No. 1". Die untere 18 Kreuzer links unten kleine Schürfung, sonst einwandfreie und sehr frische Erhaltung (kleiner Teil der Verschlussklappe fehlt). Der Brief ist nach dem Tarif von 1858 portogerecht frankiert bis zum Anlandehafen, weitere 4 Reales Inlandsporto mussten vom Empfänger bezahlt werden (entsprechender Taxstempel auf der unten klebenden 18 Kreuzer). 18 Kreuzer brick-red in horizontal pair, full to large margins, between the stamps (postage stamp) with longer pre-separation, in mixed franking with perforated issue 3 Kreuzer rose, with upward and adjacent DKr. "NÜRNBERG 23 JUL. 1871" and a delicate ink stroke on an 18 cross, on envelope via France and London to Mexico, with tax stamp "4" (Reales) on face for the Mexican domestic postage. The 3 Kreuzer two small tooth shortenings at bottom, one 18 Kreuzer value with transparent light spot, otherwise perfect and very fresh condition for an overseas letter. A remarkable transatlantic letter from the well-known Hülsemann correspondence. "NÜRNBERG 23 JUL. 1871" sowie zartem Tintenstrich auf einer 18 Kreuzer, auf Briefkuvert über Frankreich und London nach Mexico, mit vorderseitigem Taxtempel "4" (Reales) für das mexikanische Inlandsporto. Die 3 Kreuzer zwei kleine Zahnverkürzungen unten, ein 18 Kreuzer-Wert in der Durchsicht helle Stelle, sonst einwandfreie und für einen Überseebrief sehr frische Erhaltung. Ein bemerkenswerter Transatlantik-Brief aus der bekannten Hülsemann-Korrespondenz. 18 Kreuzer brick red, horizontal pair with long pre-cut and single stamp, in mixed franking with perforated issue 6 Kreuzer brown and two single values 12 Kreuzer purple, with violet-blue double circle cancellation "AUGSBURG 29 DEC. 1871" on envelope of 2nd weight via London and Cape Town to Willow-Moore in the district of Prince Albert, Cape of Good Hope with reverse transit and arrival cds. on face. The postage paid as a whole fresh colours, the single 18 Kreuzer corner error and a 12 Kreuzer some tooth defects, the envelope partially supplemented, especially above and at the sides. 12 Kreuzer purple, fresh colours and perfect perforated, with neatly upward and adjacent semi-circle cancellation "AIBLING 2/11" on small envelope by express to Rosenheim with arrival postmark of the same day. The address is somewhat faded, the red chalk express markings are faded and the envelope shows slightly signs of transport, otherwise perfect. The letter is franked postage due with 3 Kreuzer letter fee and 6 Kreuzer express fee (the Chargé obligation was abolished from 1 January 1868) An extraordinarily scarce single franking of this stamp in this form; we have only registered one similar cover. 12 Kreuzer lila, farbfrisch und einwandfrei gezähnt, mit sauber auf- und nebengesetztem Halbkreisstempel "AIBLING 2/11" auf kleinem Briefkuvert per Express nach Rosenheim mit Ankunftsstempel vom selben Tag. Die Adresse ist etwas verblasst, die Rötel-Expressvermerke abgeschwächt und das Kuvert leichte Beförderungspuren, sonst einwandfrei. Der Brief ist portogerecht frankiert mit 3 Kreuzern Briefgebühr und 6 Kreuzern Expressgebühr (der Chargé-Zwang entfiel ab dem 1.1.1868) Eine in dieser Form außerordentlich seltene Einzelfrankatur dieser Marke; wir haben nur einen ähnlichen Beleg registriert. 7 Kreuzer ultramarine, 3 single values, fresh colours and well perforated except for a shortened corner tooth, with neatly applied and adjacent grey-blue segment postmark "GIESING 4 5" (1872) on complete folded cover to Lisbon, with oval transit postmark "FRANCA" and reverse arrival datestamp. Postage until 30 June 1872 was 21 Kreuzer per 10 g, including 7 Kreuzer association tax + 14 Kreuzer further franking, here noted as "4" Silbergroschen. Das Porto betrug bis 30.6.1872  21 Kreuzer pro 10 g, davon 7 Kreuzer Vereinstaxe + 14 Kreuzer Weiterfranko, hier notiert als "4" Silbergroschen. The envelope is slightly shortened on the left, defective on the reverse due to improper opening, the flap parts attached with glue; the postage paid is perfect. Der Umschlag ist links gering verkürzt, rückseitig durch unsachgemäße Öffnung fehlerhaft, die Klappenteile mit Leim befestigt; die Frankatur einwandfrei.
