VERY FINE. A RARE IMPRINT AND PLATE NUMBER BLOCK OF THE 12-CENT 1861 ISSUE FIRST DESIGN PROOF ON INDIA. A BEAUTIFUL SHOWPIECE.

This is the only plate block of the 12c First Design on India we have offered since keeping computerized records more than 20 years ago.
