A FINE APPEARING AND SPECTACULAR COVER, COMBINING AN EXTREMELY RARE BLOCK, SCARCE ORANGE CANCELLATION AND ADVERSITY USAGE.

Only eight covers with the 2c Green used from Mississippi are listed in the Warren census and this is the only cover of that group that bears a block.

The Warren census records only seven examples of the 2c Lithograph used from Columbia, including three circulars -- one of which was used locally. This is the only recorded drop-letter usage in the census.
