The album begins with a selection of early used including Scott #s: 4 (x2), 14 (x3), 15 (x2), 17 (x2), 17b, 18 (x3), 19 (x2), 20. The collection continues with sets of Large Queens, Scott #s: 21-30 (includes #29 mint hinged pair, #30 mint no gum); Small Queens #34-40 (includes #36 never hinged pair), along with mint hinged #41-47 (including #43 pitted plate variety). The collection concludes with full sets of mint hinged Numerals, Edward VII, Québecs, Admirals, Scrolls, Arch, Pictorials, War and Peace issues, including examples of coils and coil pairs. Catalogue value of the album counted up to 1951 only. The lot also contains an accumulation of useful mint and used Canada in Vario-style stock pages and glassines. Consignment Remainders of Mint and Used Collections in 15 Albums / Stockbooks, containing multiple thousands of stamps. This lot has a bit of everything including a stockbook of bulk used from Small Queens up to the 1940s, a small stockbook of back of the book used (noting O.H.M.S. perforated issues, Postage Dues, Pre-cancels and a few Private Perfins), several albums and stockbooks of mint and used ranging from the 1960s to the 1980s. 21 Stockbooks with Thousands of Stamps, from Victoria to 2019. This group is overwhelmingly used, includes classics, as well as hundreds of used stamps from the 1990s to 2019. Though the stockbooks are from various manufacturers and are in mixed condition, with some starting to come apart, they are generally clean. This group fills two wine boxes. We estimate there to be over 8,000 stamps in this lot, with very good variety through modern period. We also noted a number of socked-on-the-nose cancels, pre-cancels and revenues. The first binder contains primarily used classics including Scott #s: 4 (2 margins), 14, 15, 17,18, 19, 21-30, 34-38, 40-42, 44-47, 50, 51-54 (all m.h.), 55, 56-57 (both m.h.), 59, 60, and continues with used sets of Leafs, Numerals, Edward VII, and Admirals up to the Peace issue. The collection continues with a mixture of mint and used singles and never hinged souvenir sheets up to 2011. Face value of the collection is at least $600, with potential for more as we counted the obvious mint stamps only (counted 17c and up, with the vast majority 30c and up). The collection concludes with a representation of back of the book material including: Airmail. Special Delivery, Postage Dues and Overprint Officials, along with a section of roughly 100 Newfoundland mint and used, primarily post 1900. We note a few faults with the early stamps and some heavy postmarks, with some mint stamps stuck down on pages due to humidity, or to older hinges (uncounted towards face value). A cursory check showed singles, pairs, blocks, and a few plate blocks, with the majority of material ranging from 1930 onward. Better items include Scott #s: 122 (x4, n.h., c.v. $860 total), 157 (x10, n.h., c.v. $1,200), 175 (x20, n.h., c.v. $1,900 total, includes two plate blocks counted as singles), 226 (x9, n.h., c.v., $337 total), 227 (x13, n.h. c.v. $1,072 total), 245 (x16, n.h., c.v. $1,760), E3 (x24, n.h., c.v. $1,680).
