5210 og,O   VALUABLE WORLDWIDE BALANCE.The balance of a large holding we have been instructed to sell, this part being the stamp albums only with over 40 collections. , , For example, there are 3 interesting old fashioned brown Scott International albums. 1901-1920, 1920-1929 and the 1930s, well filled overall with many 1000s of stamps, all one of a kind, also half a dozen or so green Scott speciality albums of South America mostly well filled however condition very mixed, also Switzerland again in a Scott speciality album with plenty of classics, well filled yet has to be reference in the 19th century cantons, then through to the 20th century with mint Pax series complete etc. Then a group of Lindner albums specialising mostly in Scandinavia, also various Lighthouse albums mostly European collections, followed by 2 Master Global stamp albums and then one country collections of Gibraltar, Spain, France and French colonies housed in various different albums, even a good specialised collection of Great Britain line engraved, well filled in a home-made album etc etc. We made this all into one lot. We have had no time to value the albums, so an arbitrary level of less than $200 a book to start. There are albums here worth many multiples of that. An opportunity for dealers.

5213 og,O,c   imageWORLDWIDE "CHERRY PICKINGS".This represents nothing but cherry pickings, made by a never to retire dealer who is still buying mixed lots from us&hellip, to cherry pick. Just handed in at the 59th minute, at least there was enough time to do a couple of photoplates to show how interesting and varied some of these gems are, including a sample of some of the postal history as well. The best home for this is probably a mail auction house looking for a worldwide "auction in one" &ndash, a recommended viewing. Dealers don&rsquo,t miss (Image1) (Image2)

5217 og,O   WORLDWIDE POST-1940s HOLDING WITH TOPICAL APPEAL.An extensive and very diverse range housed in 30 volumes, mint and used, with the overwhelming majority in complete series. A very pleasant stock with nothing in excessive duplication, generally up to half a dozen or so each, save occasional larger mint blocks, all housed in chronological order of which 20 are very substantial and well filled stockbooks. Please note these are not with the cardboard strips but with the expensive types ie with transparent interleaving so you can tell whether the sets are n/h without having to take them out. They are virtually all never hinged and the presentation is extremely impressive and makes an easy turn-key stock. Some of the other albums are specifically dedicated to topics such as International year of the Child, Rowland Hill and Rubens etc. There are many countries represented however, by far the main ones are from Europe, ie Hungary including parallel mint imperf series, Liechtenstein, Austria, Germany, West Germany and ,Berlin including better early commems late 1940s/early 1950s, (no East Germany.) Switzerland etc. The new issue cost of this lot would clearly run into many ten of thousands of dollars and the topical range here truly outstanding and will yield an excellent return at our average between $150 to $200 per book. Topical dealers, please put this on top of your list of lots to view but expect strong competition! 4,500-6,000

SOLD for $4,250.00
