5201 og,O   imageWORLDWIDE CORNUCOPIA OF DESIRABLE STAMPS.When the 64 sides of this large lighthouse stockbook would be filled, this collector promised some time ago he would give it to Harmers. We  ,very recently reminded him of this, as we were going to press. He has kept his word - the stockbook is quite fantastic.  ,We have now agreed on an average value of under $400 per page, however to the vendor's credit, there clearly are pages here worth 1000s of dollars each. These are this gentleman's favorite stamps accumulated over the years, and the hunt has been great fun, "far better than a round of golf!". Now that the book is filled, he has given us instructions to sell expecting a large upside on our valuation. A wonderful opportunity for a dealer, offered intact as received.

5202 og,O   SPRAWLING WORLDWIDE ACCUMULATION. ,many many 1000s of stamps on album pages, sales cards, stock books, envelopes, even a small stack of old APS circuit books, ,etc., from nearly every stamp issuing entity and loaded with colorful topicals, French Africa and 3d world imperfs, Brit. Caribbean topicals, better sets, S/S, proofs, fakes and forgeries, cinderellas, and so much more, a written description can not begin to adequately describe the depth and scope of this longtime dealer's accumulation in ,12 ,cartons, usual mixed condition with majority F-VF, a challenge to view because of its diversity so be prepared to spend quite some quality time with this one. , 15,000-20,000

SOLD for $12,500.00

5203 og,O   imageVALUABLE WORLDWIDE ACCUMULATION.The second half of a last minute entry that unlike its other half, didn&rsquo,t quite make it in time to the last sale. This comes from a local dealer and former client who is losing his eyesight and is a "must sell" instruction. It is housed in various boxes. The accumulation is strong in central Europe. There are more than 60 volumes of which at least 2 dozen are albums, 3 dozen are stockbooks, etc. There is also a very interesting selection of material that he never got around to processing. In our opinion we recommend that you start on that part &ndash, it is particularly valuable, although a challenging viewing because of the presentation. Much here is very diverse and there is considerable back of the book, collateral, cinderella and much non-Scott listed, as well as useful postal history much of which has not seen the light of day for many years. Since everything must go, please note that some of the albums and stockbooks are relatively dull by comparison to others. You have to hunt and value carefully with patience, as it suddenly becomes very good out of nowhere. From our quick overview the large box of work in progress will make the heart beat faster, a thoroughly recommended viewing. If you do have time to view everything, you have a good chance of being the buyer. Please note our estimate range is just a guide since it is a must sell instruction no matter what, therefore for example look at the 3 albums replete with PRC, and at the other end of the spectrum the substantial banknote collection thrown in for good measure. Enough said, now figure slowly with a calculator, an opportunity not to be missed especially for dealers. Please study the photoplate of a few of the items here. (Image1) 15,000-20,000

SOLD for $9,000.00

5204 og,O   WORLDWIDE 19th CENTURY ISSUES COLLECTION.A must sell instruction at the last minute with 1000s of stamps, virtually all one of kind, housed in a battered but beautiful old fashioned Scott International album, bulging at the seams. Completely uncataloged with a range of condition from superb to the other end of the spectrum! , There is also postal history stuffed on the sides, as well as stamps. Virtually every country of the world at that time is represented here with some countries far stronger than others. The collection is completely uncataloged and no doubt apart of the condition factor consideration, there will also be many reference present. An eye catching collection with huge appeal for the generalist, a delight to view. 15,000-20,000

Africa, Disney, transportation (esp. trains), celebrities, etc., leafing through noticed Chad 251A-D, China 471, PRC 1764a booklet, ,1788-89 sheets NH, 1840-43 blocks NH, 1844 NH, ,France 2713 in folder, DDR 144a-146a imperf NH, Japan 388a NH (corner creased), ,Palestinian Authority 84-88 sheets of 10 (3), Saar B64a, ,Sierra Leone 1167-71, 1294-1302, ,U.S. Trust Territories ,sheets and S/S, strong Hong Kong (Chinese) &, ,Macao, etc., some minor duplication, overwhelmingly NH an PO fresh and F-VF, needs alot of sorting but an ideal lot for the traditional or on-line retailer of modern material.  , 12,000-16,000

5206 og,O   WORLDWIDE COLLECTION WITH USEFUL EASTERN ASIA.Briefly, some of the material noticed in this very diverse lot include 8 album pages of Zanzibar postal stationery, 10 album pages of Japanese post cards, 7 album pages of GB offices abroad, a collection of Norfolk Island #1-#57 complete plus various Christmas and mint Falkland Islands, as well as Australia again on album pages this time for a later period 1970-9. Also present a very interesting collection of Cuba with great ,19th century including mint multiples under Spanish Administration, some early stationery and plenty of back of the book etc. German States also seen with  ,Baden with 180++ examples specifically collected for postmarks and most attractive as such, good Japan with a mint range between # 250-800, a range of used Hong Kong from Queen Victoria onwards etc. Other sections include better individual items covering the gamut from places such as Pitcairn, Cyprus, Japan, Wurttemberg, BAT, to name but some chosen at random. Other good areas include country collections of Tannu Tuva, North Ingermanland, Azerbaijan, Fr offices in Asia, Gibraltar, South America and Netherlands &ndash, very very diverse. Back of the book also strong with various US/state revenues, Indo China etc.  ,Much of the value here is in worldwide classics through to the 1930s. The modern section being definitely minority part of this great ,accumulation, created over 20 years by a self-confessed compulsive buyer. This is offered intact as received, in certain parts it is still very chaotic. ,We started to re-present the lot and soon realized this was an impossible task in the time available. There are many interesting items, for example, stuffed on stock cards with lots of hidden surprises all over the place especially in the classics. This gentleman was a hoarder of the first order and this is the end result. If you allow yourself a few hours viewing this, it will increase your chance of being a successful bidder. There is so much more here to sort and categorize, thoroughly recommended for a dealer/stamp workaholic! 10,000-15,000

SOLD for $6,000.00

5207 og,O   WORLDWIDE BALANCE OF A STOCK.Most countries are represented here, there must be many hundreds of thousands of stamps housed in over 75 volumes, often one of a kind as well as much in complete series format, occasionally up to half a dozen or so  ,of each series, mint and used. Virtually everything is displayed stamp on stamp making this a challenging but rewarding viewing. We have simply made a lot here of everything that did not quite make an individual auction entry and placed an average of about $125 a book, across the board. There are many books easily worth $200-$300 each and very few, if any, worth under $100. Countries include Switzerland from ,19th century with a range of sitzende and stehende helvetias with hundreds organized by perforations and types through to comprehensive modern. Early Latvia, then Lithuania and Estonia. Then extensive Argentina and Brazil, Bulgaria inc a very good range of ,19th century, considerable French Colonies through French Polynesia, Belgium with "chemins de fer" in-depth range, Luxembourg housed in a Safe album inc the scarce 1919/39 m/s superb used, Turkey especially Ottoman Empire, France again with an extraordinary range of ,19th century with thousands of stamps to the high franc values through to ,20th century, followed by Austria with kreuzer imperfs onwards, again with much ,19th century, inc used abroad.
