Collection of well over 2000 mint and used stamps including postal history and many varieties and errors both listed and unlisted in Scott, housed in two large volumes. The collection begins with the 1921 King Alexander and King Peter I defins including dramatic pre-printing paper folds, freak perforation errors, unusual offsets with signatures on virtually every denomination, 20p black (#5) horizontal pair imperf between, 25p dark blue (#6) margin block of six imperf horizontally, 50p olive green (#7) blocks and strips imperf horizontal or vertical, etc. through to the complete series in imperf pairs (see note after #14). Then the 1923 Alexanders with two complete mint series (#22/26), 1926/27 series also complete mint and with attractive three-color franking tied on postcard express to Czechoslovakia by special magenta cancels for 1930 Sokol congress Belgrade, followed by 1928 "xxxx" o/ps complete mint (#53/62), 1932/33 no imprint series complete mint (#77/86), etc. On later issues there are often attractive FDCs to the same addressee, beginning with the 1935 King Peter II defins through to the semi-postal series of the 1930s in the second volume. The third book has the postage dues with better including 1924 complete mint with top value never hinged and signed (#J12/J20), 1928 10d on 25d pink mint pair showing both types of "1", 1933 inverted overprints not listed in Scott, etc. The rest of the book concentrates on Scott listed varieties from the forerunners onwards with highlights including Bosnia and Herzegovina double surcharges on Bosnian girl issues (#1L21a/1L22a), 1919 80h perf 11 1/2 mint (#1L36a), Latin o/ps in red and black on 10h blind soldier (#1LB1a) with the red both signed and one mint never hinged, Cyrillic o/ps on 15h wounded soldier (1LB2a) with three signed, similarly wrong o/ps as well as inverted o/ps on special deliveries (#1LE1a/b, #1LE2a/b), then the Croatia-Slavonia SHS o/p inverted on white numerals 15f violet mint (#2L5a), perf 12 allegory types complete mint never hinged (#2L32a/2L36a), through to Slovenia roulette x perf varieties inc. scarce 5f green mint never hinged (#3L24a), 8d on 30f postage due with serrate x straight roulette mint (#3LJ32a), followed by Kingdom of Yugoslavia again, inc. 10d violet brown postage due with wrong cliche mint, signed (#J9a) and much, much more. Highly specialised and comprehensive collection of the Yugoslavia forerunner issues for Slovenia 1919/1920, with over 1000 mint and used stamps housed in a large volume, with in-depth studies issue for issue including lots of interesting varieties and errors. The collection begins with the chain breakers, with perf errors inc. 15f blue mint block of four imperf between horizontally and a gray blue shade block with double perfs, etc, then a cover from Vinkovci to Zagreb franked with pair of the 20f brown with one stamp bisected. Also a 10f red postal stationery card with additional 3f violet with cds and SHS censor postmarks. Then the typographed issues including the complete imperfs on #3L9/3L23, through to the postage dues including the 8d on 30f top value mint and used (#3LJ32), followed by the newspaper stamps where the detail goes up a notch with extensive plating studies on the different printings of the Eros types. The studies are illustrated with enlarged photos diagrams and write-up, including the very scarce 6f blue Vienna printing mint, signed twice (#3LP12) and the surcharges including composite part-sheets showing se-tenant combinations of different values. A highly recommended collection for the specialist collector or dealer of this area, with enormous potential.

An old world tie-cover ledger book housing a collection of revenues assembled in the 1930s, with well over 650 stamps virtually all one of a kind, including many unusual types. The Austro-Hungarian empire is well-represented with the 1870s/1890s leaf-types to high values in various designs, Balkans, "K.u.K. Militar-Verwaltung in Montenegro", Franz Josef pelure paper types of 1912 inc. series for sparkling wine with inscriptions in Latin, cyrillic and arabic, Bosnia/Herzegovina in Turkish empire, Hungary inc. Budapest locals and , intricate 50p red design of crow stealing ring, Romania, etc. Also an interesting range of German States inc. A very diverse range of material, mint and used, from the 19th century onwards housed in 8 large volumes, representing mostly countries from South and Central America, with however some bonus Portugal and Colonies including Omnibus which is the ,1st , ,book from the imperfs onwards, with dozens of different 19th century through to the long Ceres defins to post WWII modern commems etc. There are 48 pages to the Portugal as with each volume.  ,They are for the most part well filled, mostly one of a kind or occasionally minor duplication. The ,2nd book is Peru again from classic imperfs with the likelihood that the steamship is an official reprint all the way through to the modern era. The ,3rd volume is , Honduras and Panama again from the 19th century, no doubt Seebecks here and again needing some organisation. The ,4th volume has Bolivia and Colombia in depth. The ,5th volume is loaded with Dominican Republic, as well as Haiti and again deserves careful research. The ,6th volume is with Cuba from Spanish occupation from the 19th century with several dozen stamps through to the 20th century with 100s of stamps to independence and on to the Castro era. The ,7th volume is further Latin America this time Argentina, unfortunately somewhat dishevelled as a result of shipping from the vendors estate, yet nevertheless loaded with interesting material requiring a good sorting, the same with the ,8th accompanying this, the officials and other back of the book. This whole accumulation needs a lot of work, it is completely uncatalogued and needs time and careful study page for page to appreciate what is here.
