769 c   China Republic and Taiwan dealer's postal history grouping of slightly over two hundred covers housed in a medium-sized box, nearly one hundred of which are from China Republic, comprising commercial, missionary, or private covers postmarked between 1918 and 1949, and predominantly franked with diverse, regular or surcharged Sun Yat-sen definitives paying various rates, mainly to the United States, several better espied, incl., registered covers, 1939 airmail cover from Shanghai to Paris, 1941 domestic cover displaying 8c (2) Sun Yat-sen paying 16c rate, 1946 inflation cover from Changshu to the United States, Japanese occupation cover franked with $10 Hwa Peh definitive, and others, the Taiwan covers, postmarked from 1950 through 1970s, are mostly philatelic, however there are several better postally used covers mixed in, incl. 1951 United States Navy corner card cover franked with 1950 40c, $5 Koxinga and 1951 $1 Election, 1953 Chiang kai-Shek first day cover, and more., condition is rather mixed, but many are fine-very fine, most are sleeved and priced, excellent retail potential, so examine carefully. 776 ngog/nh   Germany-Wurttemberg mint and unused collection on pages, contains over 250 different, of course this includes the numerous officials which are rather easily acquired (there are another couple hundred duplicate officials), what is more rarely encounter are over 50 different postal issues starting with 1kr, 3kr, and 18kr First issue, in addition there are two reprints of the first issue including the 1864 official reprint of the 18kr, the Arms issues are quite comprehensive starting with the perf. 13½, and the perf. 10 are complete less only the 9kr Claret but including the 9kr Black brown in addition to the normal red brown, both rouletted issues are complete less the 18kr Orange, the last perforated issues are nearly complete including a 2M Vermilion on buff (regummed), there are also a number of varieties in addition to the normal including imperfs., proofs and plate flaws, also there is another hundred private city post stamps of Stuttgart, condition is overall quite clean though some minor faults will be found in the early issues, many stamps of the postal issues have o.g., but there are a number of unused stamps without gum in the early period, some varieties and officials are also never hinged, a nice collection of this German state and well worth examining; accompanied by five German Philatelic Society certificates and stamps will be found signed by various experts; Scott catalog value is easily over $20,000.00 and there is another €2,400 listed only in Michel, plus the items that are listed by neither. 777 O   Germany-Wurttemberg comprehensive used collection of over 90 different postal issues including shades and over 170 officials, both sections are virtually complete, plus there is a small stockbook with another couple hundred stamps, the most significant value is in the postal issues with numerous high values including two of the 18K Black on dull violet first issue, each of the subsequent sets are complete with the 18kr high values present for each set, there is also a 70kr Violet (#53a) that is fine appearing but repaired, a number of shades are also present some of which are scarcer, condition varies, most of the stamps in the collection are quite clean though faults will be found in the early period but the collector was normally quite selective and there are a number of fine-very fine stamps to be found with a few having been expertized by various experts, faults are more prominent in the duplicates, nevertheless a valuable collection with total Scott catalog value well in excess of $20,000.00. Est. $1,500-2,000

778 ogOc   Germany-Wurttemberg massive postal stationery accumulation consisting of over 1,800 mint and used items, there is a wide range of material present including numerous regular postal cards from the 1870s and envelopes in various sizes from the early 1860s, there are also a few letter-cards, plus numerous official postal cards and envelopes including some issued for specific government offices, cards and envelopes for money orders are also present, etc., we note some printed to private order items and there is even some private city post cards and envelopes mint and used for Stuttgart, the collector seemed to acquire everything he could find in this prolific area so there is much duplication, but there are many interesting usages and scarce items scattered throughout, condition varies but the vast majority are fine or better with many fine-very fine; certainly an interesting lot for the Wurttemberg specialist and well worth examining. 779 c   Germany-Wurttemberg cover collection/accumulation of 350 covers, starts with a few stampless covers and includes over 30 of the early stamp period covers through the second rouletted issue, we note eight first issue covers including a 1Kr single franking, other better frankings include two 1861 9kr Claret perf.13½ singles on cover (#27a; file fold affects the stamps) and a three-color franking with perf. 10 18kr. Orange (#40) along with 1kr and 3kr rouletted values (#41-42), there are over 150 later issue covers including 100 picture post cards and over 150 official covers, the largest portion in the inflation period showing the escalation of rates, condition varies with some faults and normal postal wear to be expected, but a nice lot for the postal history collector with some very desirable items, examine. 780 og/nhO   Germany extensive collection mounted on pages in sixteen binders and two stockbooks, generally mint and used to around 1925 and nearly all mint thereafter, starts with Empire issues including used 1872 ¼gr to 18Kr complete, used 1872 9Kr, used 1900 5M Kaiser Ty. I and Ty. II, used 1922 1¼M watermarked quatrefoils then 1924 on issues mint and apparently complete, the semi-postals are complete mint including 1930 Iposta souvenir sheet, the 1933 souvenir sheet and the 1935 Ostropa souvenir sheet, while the air mails include all the Graf Zeppelins issues mint, the post WWII occupations appear complete, as does the Federal Republic issues including the Posthorns, Berlin and DDR also appear to be complete, there is also a good collection of booklets and booklet panes, Saar, German States and Colonies and offices are present but weak, somewhat mixed condition among the earlier issues, but nicer than most often found, from the 20th century the vast majority are o.g. or used, fine-very fine; a valuable collection that deserves a thorough examination. Est. $4,000-5,000
