847 ogngO bl   Natal comprehensive mint and used collection/accumulation, mounted on pages with over 450 stamps, this collection is very broad in its scope, starting with a presentable used example of the 3d Rose first issue and a faulty used 6d Green of that issue with a 1958 RPS certificate mentioning no faults, the early engraved and surface printed issues are well represented with several used showing shades, varieties and cancels, mint examples are found interspersed, there are many overprinted issues with varieties and an interesting study of the 1895 "Postage/Half-Penny" surcharge on 6d Violet (#114), Edward VII issues are largely complete mint to the 10/- Brown and deep rose, used values are present with postal cancels to £1/10, plus there are ten high values to the £20 with revenue cancels that are priced in Scott at modest values because they are virtually unavailable postally used and great rarities mint, condition varies with some mixed condition in the early issues, mint has o.g. with the exception of a few early issues, overall largely very presentable with most fine-very fine; an excellent and valuable collection of this South African country; total Scott catalog value including the two first issues is in excess of $13,500.00 with a number of revenues and other back-of-the-book issues not counted; examination will prove worthwhile. Military stamp genuinely used on cover with scuff in the top left corner of the stamp, not counted are various mint and used telegraphs, revenues and other issues, condition is overall quite nice, a few faults are to be expected but the vast majority are o.g. or used, fine-very fine; well worth examining by the specialist of this area; total Scott catalog value is over $6,800 not counting the cover.
