847 og/nh/ng   Canada substantial and valuable mint and unused collection, the largest portion of the value is in well over 200 19th century and better 20th century issues of Canada proper, plus another 125 of the Canadian provinces which are mostly sets of Newfoundland, the Canada starts with five different unused of the first 1859 Cents issue including a 10c Brown with o.g. (#17b), other high catalog value 19th century include nine unused Large Queens, a nice selection of sixteen mint Small Queens including a mint 5c Slate Green and the two high values, plus the 1897 Jubilees cplt. and the later Victoria sets cplt., from there largely complete for the Edward VII and George V issues with a few of the George VI issues, air posts and special deliveries are also present, the collection concludes with an additional couple hundred singles, blocks and miniature sheets of the very modern issues with high face value, condition varies with most of the early issues through the Large Queens without gum or regummed but we found none with cancels removed, from the Small Queens on original gum is the rule and many of the issues the 1920’s to 1940’s are never hinged, some faults are present in the early period but the vast majority of the later are fine-very fine; a very desirable collection with high catalog value.
