1961 c   Iran Postage due cover collection of 34 covers mounted on pages, various postage due markings mainly within the period of the 1920's including "Taxe Percue", intaglio seals among a variety of other types of markings indicating payment due, most are from different post offices including Lengeroud, Kermanchah, Sari, Chiraz, Isfahan, Hamadan, Barfrouan, Kerman, among many others, seem to be all domestic usages, rather attractive lot with most being very fine or better; certainly worth a look for an Iranian specialist as we are sure there are some scarce to rare markings within this lot. IRAQ

1962 nh   Iraq modern mint accumulation of postage and revenue stamps, the postage stamps being sets and souvenir sheets from the 2000-2003 period, the sets being in full sheets of 100, while the souvenir sheets are usually in quantities of 100 or more, includes some Scott-unlisted items, there is also a stockbook of mainly 1990s-2004 issues (some earlier as well) that contains some errors and varieties, plus some Kurdish Region stamps, perhaps the most interesting part of this lot is the revenues, generally from the 1990s to early 2000s, many blocks including extensive showing of the Lawyer Pension Fund stamps from the 1970s to 1990s, also many errors and varieties, and some used on documents, the mint are o.g. or no gum as issued, n.h., fine-very fine; almost all of these were purchased by the consignor from the Iraqi Post Office; the combined catalog value of the listed postage stamps (using Scott) and revenues (using the Ross & Powell catalog, a copy of which is included in the lot) is enormous. 1969 c   Italian stampless accumulation of 125 mostly straight-line handstamp folded letter covers dating from 1801-1865, various usages from well over two dozen different cities throughout the Italian states, includes attractive handstamps such as "Stato Pontifi" and "Luog. di Valenza" fancy seals and "I.R. Direzione di Polizia" markings, various due markings and a couple "Dopo la Partenza" informational marks, most are domestic usages but a few seen to European destinations such as France and Germany, most look in very fine condition with some excellent handstamp strikes and worth an inspection as there could be better usages present.
