Mostly used collection right up to 2000 issues housed in nine homemade albums, the 19th Century has a high catalog value, with all the issue to the 90c value, often with duplication, for instance there are four sets of the 1861 Issues to 90c, many high dollar values from the turn of the century, starting in the 20th Century some mint is present (usually duplicating the used), the used continues all the way up to the recent issues, also many full mint panes of the modern stamps, sprinkled throughout the 20th Century are covers, mainly commercial usages to Europe, back-of-the-book includes air posts, special deliveries, postage dues, officials and more, condition is mixed so inspection is recommended.

Mint and used collection to 1994 in mounts and housed in three Scott albums, the first album is Postmaster's Provisionals to 1976, with mostly used classics including 1847 5c and 10c, 1851 to 12c, 1857 to 30c, 1861 to 90c, 1867 grills to 30c, 1869 complete to 30c, most Bank Notes,1890 small Bank Notes complete mint, Columbians complete mint to $1.00, Bureau issues to $1.00, Trans-Mississippi to $1.00, most 20th century commemoratives mint, useful Washington-Franklins, including coils, with many mint, then virtually complete mint including a White Plains sheet, the second volume is 1977-94 issues apparently complete including a Recalled Legends of the West sheet, and the third album contains valuable back-of-the-book issues and Possessions, with mint air mails complete including a set of Graf Zeppelins, special deliveries complete mostly mint, postage dues, Offices in China complete mint or used, officials, parcel post complete mint, newspapers, many revenues with First through Third issues, reds, greens, hunting permits, etc., and ending with Possessions with Canal Zone, Guam, Hawaii and Philippines, very mixed condition ranging from repaired to very fine and some misidentified, but with enough sound fine or better o.g. or used to make a careful inspection worthwhile.

Mostly mint collection to the 1980s in four Scott albums (one of which is plate number coils), only a little 19th Century, much of which is used, much of the value is in the mint 20th Century, particularly regular issues, and includes many very fine stamps, over twenty of which are accompanied by PF or PSE certificates, including some graded, back of the books includes air posts, postage dues, parcel posts, as well as cut square and revenues, also some "extras" such as a specialized Farley collection, including position pieces and two photographs, also a cover signed by F.D. Mostly mint collection intact as received, very well organized and mounted in seven like-new Schaubek hingeless albums (plus two empty albums), early material is sparse and mostly used, mint picks up around 1920s and looks nearly complete from there onwards to 2004 with the high value Priority mail stamps (up to $12.25), includes a lightly filled back of the book album, some better items noticed were a nearly complete Kan./Neb. set, Wylie and Daffy die cut omitted single sheets and n.h. #RW2, two additional small boxes contain an extra accumulation of panes, partial sheets, additional examples, some foreign, etc., extra mounts and 2011 Scott Specialized included, owner's face value alone exceeds $2,000.00.

Valuable mint collection strong in back-of-the-book, in two Lighthouse hingeless albums, at one time the collector tried to fill all of the spaces in the album, but at some point realized this would be too costly, so he concentrated all his efforts on back-of-the-book issues, namely postage dues, officials and newspaper stamps, which are all exceptionally well filled with mint stamps, the postage dues are missing only two special printings (1c and 3c) for completion, but does contain the other five special printings, four of which are accompanied by old PF and/or APS Board of Examiners certificates, includes all the key stamps such as #J29 and J58, the official are complete (except the stamp in the space of #O113 is actually #O82), including the State Dept. dollar values, #O94, O103 and O113, the newspaper stamps are quite comprehensive and contain a large number of scarce high cataloging items, the 1875 Continental Issue is lacking only the $6.00 value for completion, the 1879 American printing is just about complete through the $48.00 value, the 1885 Issue is complete, and the 1894 B.E.P. Issue contains the 2c, 4c and 6c values, plus some later issues, also some other back-of-the-book such as Offices in China complete and some Confederate States, in 2009 the collector sent most of the newspaper stamps (and one postage due) to the Philatelic Foundation for certificates, they all came back genuine and mostly classified correctly, but some did note faults (mostly small), the condition of the other higher values is somewhat mixed, but it does include fine-very fine stamps; collections containing this many scarce, rare and high cataloging stamps are rarely offered at auction.
