Our July 2026 Rare Stamps & Postal History of the World Auction is taking place Tuesday and Wednesday, July 28-29 at our Teaneck galleries and via CherrystoneLIVE. The sale includes 1,483 lots offered across four sessions, highlighted by outstanding United States material from The Thomas Ross Collection, the culmination of nearly four decades of focused collecting and study, including numerous rarities and graded stamps. The sale also features a newly discovered U.S. Scott #5, 1851 1¢ Type I (Position 7R1E) used on cover, the 100th recorded example of this iconic United States stamp. Additional offerings include European Countries, British Commonwealth, South and Central America, Asia, and Africa, together with further selections from the renowned collections of Al Kugel, Martin Stempien (Postal History of the World), Zig Kopel (Poland), the Italian Area, Russia, and many others. As always, there are 230+ large lots and collections, ranging from single country albums, specialized collections, multi-carton worldwide properties and Postal History cover lots.
