German WWII Issue for India (Azad Hind), Indian National Army, 1943, 1r + 2r Soldier with Free India Flag, all three color varieties, imperf, o.g., never hinged, Very Fine, each with two expert handstamps.

In 1943, the Germans produced a set of stamps for Subhas Chandra Bose's Azad Hind, or Indian National Army. They were intended to serve initially as propaganda labels, later as actual postage after the "liberation" of India from the British.
