 1918-22 Fifth Setting on KGV Heads 1d red SG 103 complete forme of 30 from the lower-half of Plate 4 Pane VIII [31-60] with varieties
'NY' Joined Pos [VIII/25] as well as Distorted 'ONE PENNY' and Thin 'ONE PENNY' Pos [VIII/13-14], light overall gum aging, a couple of units with small tonespots (not affecting the varieties) & the L/R unit with a rounded corner, all unmounted, Cat
£112+ for mounted singles with a significant premium for the varieties. [The 'NY' Joined variety is scarce in Red printings, having developed only in July 1918. Unoverprinted examples are priced by the ACSC at $1250, which by comparison lists other
major varieties such as 'RA' Joined at only $75; Gibbons values 'RA' Joined with NWPI overprint at £110, so its premium for 'NY' Joined with overprint should be substantial]
