SEMI-OFFICIAL AIRMAIL STAMPS: 1912 (June 10) '1M/Gelber Hund' in Blue on 10pf Duck Mi IV, marginal example from the right of the sheet, exceptional centring, unmounted, Cat €2700. Superb: far superior to a poorly centred example soon to be offered in Germany with an estimate of €1500. [Most of the Rhein to Main flight mail was carried on the airship 'Schwaben'. Only a small portion was carried by August Euler in his aeroplane 'Gelber Hund' (= Yellow Dog)]
