Delivery 6d Ferns Perf 14x15 (SG E3; CP U1c) added tied by Christchurch cds, 'EXPRESS' black/pink label at lower right, a couple of minor blemishes. The rate was 1d domestic letter + 1d airmail surcharge + 6d express delivery fee.

1939-45 WWII Military Mail group from overseas servicemen in the Pacific unfranked 'On Active Service' covers from New Hebrides and
New Caledonia x4 including one with very fine 'N.Z.A.P.O./ 2 / 150' h/s in blue (not recorded by Proud) and in the Middle East & Europe all Honour Envelopes with a variety of types comprising airmail with NZ stamps x7 including 1935 Pictorials 9d
solo frankings x2, airmail with Great Britain stamps x3 and one with Egypt Army Post stamp (not accepted) and surface rate unfranked x13 with a variety of censor marking and Field Post Office datestamps including 'EGYPT/PREPAID' and NZ 'M.P.O.'
types, condition mixed but many are fine to very fine.
