Starter collection/ stock in a Safe album and note a bit of Russian Zone at the end, nothing terribly scarce but a nice array of mint and used (some cancel interest) with some minor duplication, mostly F-VF.
An old time holding in a stock book with 1000s of stamps starting with dozens of the large Hermes Heads followed by 100s of the small Hermes Heads imperfs then 100s of the perforated Hermes Heads (all unchecked for varieties) the first Olympic Games of 1896 again in quantity with about a 100 different examples with at least 10 of the 1dr, followed by further Olympics with 5 drachma (3), similar picture for the rest of the 20th century with many high values, usual mixed conditon, generally Fine or better, a much recommended viewing.
Better sets and S/S neatly arranged in well filled stock books, covering the gamut of the mid - latter half 20th century period, spot check of better shows all NH and includes wide range of topicals as ships, planes, red cross, space, fauna, wildlife, horse riding, musicians, flags, transportation, Olympics etc. and just a bit of duplication, note se-tenants, tete-beche, few imperfs, etc., fresh and F-VF.
Several hundred stamps from the 19th century onwards, from Persian lion through to substantial late 19th/early 20th century with particular interest in the imperf 1902/03 to 50 krans, similarly with the officials, various different definitives, again as far as we can see often to high values through to 1942/46 through to Pahlavi, as well as both 50r types through to the subsequent different series, ending with the stripes overprints on the Shah’s head for the new regime, also seen 1949 S/S used, perf and imperf x5 and at the very end of the collection, the Mesheds incl #223-25 used the latter signed Yarendi, much more here than described including non-Scott listed, needs to be viewed carefully, the 1902 types as always offered on their own merits. A very interesting collection with considerable value.
Four large volumes with thousands of stamps, from the late 19th century onwards, occasionally minor duplication of mint commem series, often in blocks of 4/8. Finds likely when looked at carefully.
Beginning with 1-9 used, 1-6 tabs used, 15 left and right tab used, 16 NH and used, 27 right tab used, 31-32 with tabs as well as interpanneau never hinged gutter pairs and tete-beche of the same also NH, 33-34 tabs used, 55 tab used, C1-6 tabs used, in fact everything complete with tabs after 1952, more often parallel mint and used with tabs through to the modern era and incl miniature sheets as well as better sheetlets such as Freedom From Hunger and much more, also a fourth volume with booklets and interesting meter mail, Halbanon m/s on FDC etc., a very well rounded collection
