One of the earliest Hotel handstamps recorded for Ireland. . Note: The Post Office made concessions to hotels, issuing them with their own Paid handstamps. Hotels provided residents with a service whereby they prepaid postage on their mail and the hotel applied the designated distinctive Post Paid hanstamp.(Image 1) (Image 2)
