Postal Stamp Auction - July 2, 2024

Welcome to our Monthly Stamp Auction #572, closing on Tuesday 2nd July 2024.

We have a lovely range of 3,868 lots this month, with a large range of New Zealand material as well as all World.

We have 2 copies of the NZ 1882 1d QV lilac small type, one MUH (est $3250, lot 1881) and mint ($1,000, lot 1880). Also an NZ 1883 9d dull green, "Govt. Parcels" ovpt with certificate (est $1,250, lot 2623). A 1925 4d Dunedin Exbn reconstructed sheet as singles/multiples, identified (est $2,500, lot 1441). Scarce Greece 1988 20th European Post Workers Trade Unions Congress stamp booklet (20 strips of 5) complete (est $1,000, lot 3590). We have a 1935 9d Panel, green ovpt block of 4 MUH (est $1,000, lot 1788). We have a varied range of Full Face Queens (lots 839-991), and once again a good selection of alternative mail provider items in the New Zealand Other section. In the British Commonwealth section there is a Cape of Good Hope 1863 6d slate-purple/blued paper triangular FU (Est $750, lot 2960).
