60289   Ethiopia: 1909-36: Destination collection with covers/cards on exhibition leaves with a superb array of usages, both surface and air and registered, with covers to Aden, Argentina, Austria, Belgian Congo, Brazil; registered postcard to Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Eritrea, Estonia 1932 only cover recorded, Finland, France, Germany, GB, Greece, India, 1929 cover to Iraq, 1928 card to Japan, 1909 cover to Kenya with 'Juja / EAP' arrival = the earliest recorded mail from Ethiopia to Kenya, 1913 cover to Beirut, Lebanon, Libya, Djibouti cork canceller on 1931 cover, one of less than five known on Ethiopia (ex Sciaky), Mexico one of five recorded, Peru, Portugal, 1912 cover to Caracal, Romania; French Sudan less than five reported, USA; 1935 cover to Yugoslavia (less than 3 reported), Italian Somaliland, less than five recorded, etc. Generally fine, a very difficult group to assemble and one of the best Ethiopia destination collections in existence.(Image 1)
